Rask should be back in 2 weeks. Actually Turco could play if there's not more than one healthy goalie with an NHL contract within the organization

Except there is. Unless hannu and that other guy keel over. I would love to see Turco though. Cause I means things are not going well for them bruins. It is really odd. Callahan Is a great kid. I actually like some Rangers. Hard to believe. I may even pull for them at some point.

Meh, you don't need Turco to be satisfied, ECF at best for the Bruins this year. Hell I expect plenty of problems with those pesky Sens in the first round.

Yeah. There are a lot of good teams in the east this year. So different. Ottawa will choke though.

I got that feeling for Ottawa too. They have a good team but for the playoffs I don't know. Don't forget there is the almighty Florida Panthers!

Really depends on what happens in the other series. The Pens/Flyers series is going to be brutal and I think if Bruins can stay focused and take out Ottawa, it sets up well for them against either Florida or the Devils. I worry about fatigue for the team as well as the injuries, but we'll see what happens

Yeah, sad to say it but the Sens are probably not gonna make it to the second round.
Still, you have to really appreciate the work the team, the coach and the GM have done this year. After all, it's the first year of a three year rebuild and the team clawed it's way to the playoffs. It's been a season full of great moments to watch.
A lot of experts placed the Sens at the bottom of the east in their preseason rankings, so getting in on the playoffs is a huge thing by itself.

That said, i think the Bruins are gonna beat my beloved Sens in the first round.
But it's not a bad thing, all those young guys are gonna get a first hand experience of playoff hockey fron the Bruins (or the Rangers possibly), that should be a valuable experience. May cost some teeth, but still.
Looking forward to a hard fought series, any chance of getting a live thread here for some of the games?

Well I was a bit sarcastic. They are a huge surprise for me but at the same time.....with 18 loss in overtime/shootout, it's almost like cheating to me to have those 18 pts. I wouldn't mind a 7-8 loss but 18.....holy rubbish!

I was kidding too. Florida And Ottawa have no hope.

Ottawa would still have more chances than Florida. They have absolutely no big impact players and almost no experience in playoffs except from Campbell.

Bruins will be lucky to make to much further than the second round IMO. We've been so indifferent the second half of this season. If the Bruins go out, I'll be rooting for the Rangers.

How about the Sabres yesterday?! What a comeback! Here's hoping they pull it off. I still dislike Kaleta though.

I would love to see Buffalo in the playoffs and the Caps out. If the Caps don't make the playoffs it will be funny as hell. I would love if the Sharks don't make it too.

I'm happy to see my Sens back in the playoffs after a terrible season last year. I think they'll push the rangers to a good series, but I don't see it going past 6 games. Its all a learning experience and in a few years time they could be a force in the east again.
