Coach Greg Poss should be edited as well. I believe he only has English as his Fluent Language but should have German there as well.

I'm sure you're aware of this already, but last night the Calgary Flames traded Olli Jokinen and Brandon Prust to the Rangers for Chris Higgins and Ales Kotalik.

By the way, I'm thinking players like Chris Drury and Wade Redden need stat nerfings, considering their gameplay for the past 2 years doesn't mimic their stats. Wade Redden has been an occasional scratch for the Rangers, probably playing some of the worst defense (and absolutely no offense) for the team. Chris Drury is still strong defensively and probably a top penalty killer, but his offensive talent has long since vanished. 51 games on the season, only 8 goals and 11 assists.

Another tweak that should be made:

Geoffrey Schemitsch (1992 - Owen Sound Attack) always generates as a scrub in the game. However, he has proven this season he is a very good OHL defenseman and an NHL prospect. He's ranked by almost every scouting service, and is very likely to get drafted.

http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/stat ... hp?id=5465

That's his profile. He currently sits third among all OHL rookies in scoring, even as a defenseman. I know that you guys have a method for modifying stats and evaluating players, so I'll leave you to that and looking at scouting reports. My two cents: lanky, somewhat awkward two-way defender. Good defensively for the level, good vision and passing. Is a mobile defenseman, to pin down a specific style. He's cemented himself as a go to guy for the Attack and should be an OHL defenseman capable of putting up good numbers and playing 20+ minutes rather than a Tier 2 scrub.

Keep up the great work and hope to see him updated at least somewhat for the next patch!

Sorry for the double post, but I did notice a mistake with player birthdates.

Owen Sound's 93 tender Jordan Binnington is listed as being born Nov 7 /93, when his actual date of birth is July 11, 93. Just got the numbers switched around. It's semi-important because it changes his draft year.

Sorry for the (possible) spam, but will the Slovenian league be updated in 2.2 version, with Medvescak, Grazz 99ers juniors and Partizan Belgrade? I'm really fired up of the thought I could manage team from my own country in the game!

Thanks in advance

Sorry, but it is not possible to add any more teams to the Slovenian league. It is limited to 8 teams.

Here are just a few suggestions for the Isles:
Josh Bailey: has been playing alot of time on LW and his offensive game has looked very good
Matt Moulson: Obviously as the Isles leading scorer he is having a break out year and definitly should be improved
Jack Hillen: Has improved to the point of being a legit top 4 defenseman. His skating is amazing.
Andrew MacDonald: Along with Hillen he has really improved and his defensive play is great. He has been getting 25 min a game lately.
Andy Sutton: Better hitter and defensive dman
Brendan Witt: Has regressed terribly this year. Footspeed is SO slow and he has been a step behind all the time. Also was waived nd sent to Bridgeport
Robin Figren: Has had a TERRIBLE year in the AHL and is looking like a lost cause. Consider deacreasing his attributes considerably
Matt Martin: Should be improved a little bit and his offensive game has been good for a fighter
Matt Donovan: Should be greatly improved. Has shown in the WJC that he has great potential. Talented offensivly.
Travis Hamonic: Attributes should be greatly increased. Has turned into a blue chip prospect for the Isles and is great offensivly aswell as defensivly.

I hope these help and I really appriciate what you do for this game. I'm looking forward to the update

Lidas, what did you think of my suggestion to add at least one highly random PA retiring player to every country just make it possible for a 2nd 3rd rate country to get a good NHL player? I think it wuold be good for the balance and realism.

It's an interesting suggestion. Only problem I see is that they'll all regenerate at the same time - to the 2009 and 2010 drafts.

I'm happy you liked it!
I thought of that problem too, the 09/1o regens are already stacked. Do you know a way to keep them in the game for a while without them signing or retiring? It should be possible to circumvent the game mechanics somehow.

I'll try to play around with the editor now.

Gave it some more thought - and made a list with nations which could get some new potential star players.
And - I came up with another (minor) problem. How to decide position on the players. If each nation (I came up with around 20) gets one -14 or -15 pot regen, what position does he get? I guess I could just flip a coin, roll a dice, draw straws or something similar. Havent tried it (and it wouldnt take much time to test, I just dont have the time right now), but what position will be assigned to a player who has "0"s assigned to all positions?

and C the next time. I guess it will be randomized. I also put "0" at OFF/DEF role so it would not affect
