I agree. MSN.
Is Yahoo compatible with MSN, so that they can receive messages from each other?

No compatibility I think...
We (joe and me) tried a test. It was nice. I couldn't host (joe couldn't connect, don't know why). But we still played one game... it wasn't very fast but it worked quite smooth.
I've won

I can't play today.
I'll have to join you guys midseason next time we play.
Someone else should add the others to his messenger. Octavian?

Hmm, I'm a litle bit worried. No Archibald, no Tasku...
Don't have the MSN of Frosty (didn't see him arround for a while neither) and joe and petrie aren't online. The game should start in a half an hour

I suggest e-mailing them, asking for their msn addresses.
Octavian, you can find their e-mail addresses in
Administrator's panel -> e-mail list if the e-mail addresses on their profiles don't work.

rubbish - sorry guys - I had assumed that our 'season' would start next weekend (March 19)
As for MSN - I am really not eager to install it on my comp - any chance of letting me get away with using the chatline within EHM?
EDIT
Okay guys, I have gone ahead and sold out to Bill Gates - yet again. MSN is now installed on my comp
My MSN username is:
frosty@sogor.ca Please add me to your lists.
I have added JoeHelmer and Octavian to my contact list.
I couldn't find Tasku's and Petrie's MSN names
I'm good to go for next weekend... :clapping:

Oh, and make sure you have your email in your profile and MSN Messenger installed if you want in.
Hahahah!
That's what I said earlier, not even remembering I didn't have my own email address in the profile...
*duh!*

COUNT ME IN!!! as long as you have not started yet,
a few questions though
1) my msn is far from reliable can you contact me through my aol address is that fine?
2) i have no add-ons just the game i bought do i need any add-ons?
3) I was Looking to do an NHL league, because of the cool teams, and players, etc, i dont mind doing poor or good teams, obviously NYR are my team, but I AM WILLING TO DO A SMALL LEAGUE if no one else fancies the challenge of the NHL,
this sounds great

No, we haven't started yet. Next Saturday, welcome!
1) I guess that's okay, but if by "far from reliable" you mean it keeps signing in and out (happens to me sometimes), it's still better than just email, because we can send instant messages to the players, and add you straight to our contact list, so there's no last minute surprises.
2) All you need is patch 1.0.5 or 1.0.7.
3) NHL would be the best, because everyone knows it, but it's too big, with 30 teams, for our tiny group (5 people maybe), not enough games against each other, and not as much fun. Maybe if we get ten players (wow!), we could play NHL, yes?

or, i just had great idea if theres 5 of us, all be in the same division! or conference, theres many games played against each other, i wouldn't mind being anyone in the NHL we could do some kind of agreement on here to see who gets best team, i wouldnt mind being even Chicago!
i dont know anything about european leagues, knw a bit about the EIHL, but the NHL rules, its up to everyone though
Best Division (teams on same level)
- you will always get 1 just a bit below,
Atlantic - NJD, PHI, NYR, NYI, PIT
Northeast - BOS, TOR, MON, BUF, OTT

Sounds okay to me, I don't care which team I play. Although Caps would be the favourite. We could take a vote on which division to use?

If we are not going to play the NHL, the Austrian league is really good, just 8 teams or something like that, and we're going to play against each other very often.
I don't think that nobody here knows much about the Austrian league, but I have played it once and it's a very fun league, to bad that my save crashed during the first season in Austria.

me and Tasku were having a chat about doing the NHL, and saying that although the league is big, which in my opinion is good (better players, teams, funds, etc) that simply if there are 5 of us we all be in the same Conference, or if can be agreed upon same division (5 teams per NHL division)
Say we have 6 players if we all pick teams in the East we will play each other quite often, and if you are in someone elses division very often.
Plus imagine how good the playoffs would be if we got to them,
My first choice is 100% the NHL,
But if 4 people want to do another league i wont argue, i just personally like the NHL, and it should be agreed by all

So who is going to host this game then? do we actually have anyone lined up?
i have a broadband connection, whats required to host a game?
Posted: Wed Mar 16, 2005 2:00 pm

A good and fast PC, lets say a P4 or AMD XP... 2,4 or +2400...
I have also broadband, who hasn't?

i have XP, my PC is fast but 1 problem at the moment when im on AOL it suddenly cuts off, says disconnected and then reconnects, at worst few minutes off, but usually straight back online
is this spyware?
So say if were doin an online league and my connection goes can i log off quickly on the game then come back on? probably be at max 1min delay, or will it F*c* up the game? do i need to sort it out?
i think it would be a smart move anyway to have auto save every 1 or two weeks on cosidering its an online league
You gonna be atlanta? darn i was thinkin of poaching kovalchuk!
