They are still 1-10.

But alas I commend all the good work done by the team TBL and all who helped, the transfers and roster composition seems all in top notch order, love the work TBL thanks guys!
Has anyone else had issues assigning players to the AHL / ECHL? In my first sim so far, I'm playing as the NYI and both clubs are ECHL (I understand why); however shortly after training camp / ECHL season starts, I'm unable to assign players down because the rosters are full. I have to manually offer players on loan to send them down. Is this a bug because both affiliates are in the ECHL, or were there changes made to the numbers of players allowed on farm rosters (though this seems like something that would be hard coded)?
As always, thanks for the work and breathing life into this game.

If the ECHL roster is full then you cannot assign any more players. IIRC, players on loan does not count against the ECHL limit.
Best thing is to add a GM to the ECHL teams and release players so you can fit your guys in
This guy has become a really good defenseman for me with Calgary (and also for me with some other teams when I played with older roster updates) and I really don't think he'll become that good. He's got -14 as PA and I guess I've gotten lucky a couple of times but I think he should his PA should be changed.

And when you have it at full detail their scoring is realistic?
I had the same high scoring defenseman problem a while back with the 2013-2014 roster, i wonder for a long time why the hell there were 10 PPG defenseman per season always.
That's when i decided to try turning off Quick Sim to Full Detail, and it lowered the Defenseman scoring totals. After that the highest scoring defenseman had around 50-60 points.

Another possible solution is to go to your farm team an offer a tryout to one of those makeweight players not signed by your pro team/ main club...henceforth opening up a roster spot to send down the player you want to your farm team...granted you have to press continue a few teams before those makeweights in your farm team accept the tryout but it is a good way to circumvent this issue.

Junior-aged players signed by NHL teams but sent back to their junior league are listed as unsigned prospects due to the fact that Entry-level contracts does not slide in the game as they do IRL. I've also chosen to assign some junior-aged players to junior due to roster issues (Horvat and Zadorov to name two)

Okay! But I'll keep him/them in my NHL contracted list. So they get their attributes updated.

More realistic - leaders are in the 45-60 point range but you will never get anyone above that. On full detail there is an issue where the highest scoring defensemen are always on the highest scoring teams or teams with great PPs. Defensive scoring is messed up in this game, especially at ES.

Here's the response I posted having discussed the feedback with Manimal and the researchers:
Both players have variable Potential Abilities (PAs) which means their potential is randomly set within a range each time you start a new game. Both Merrill and Severson have a PA of -8 in the latest DB update. When you start a new game, the game will generate a PA of between 130 - 160 (this is what the -8 "instructs" EHM to do). We use these ranges because it provides some variation between saved games and it is pretty hard/impossible to give a prospect a specific PA (this is why EHM has variable PA ranges).
At the bottom end of the range, 130 is slightly above the average rating for the NHL; and at the other end 160 is "Good" in the NHL (i.e. well above average). The range of ability ratings for the NHL should be approximately 100 - 190. The spread of talent in the league should be clustered around the 120 mark (as this is the average rating for the NHL) with relatively fewer players at 100 and 190. If you imagine a bell curve which is slightly stretched out and with the peak at 120 then you'll get an idea of how CAs should be distributed in the NHL.
The descriptor for the -8 PA is a “rare, top prospect with a good chance of being a talented NHL player”. The next PA after this, -9, which would result in a higher CA range (150 - 180) is “very rare, top 10 prospect that can’t miss.”
So the 130 - 160 PA range for the two players means they have the potential to do well in the NHL. The reason for the projections in your game could be because the PA randomly generated is at the lower end of the range, the scouts are not that great at judging potential, and of course there is plenty of margin for error in scouting projections.

Will this change? I think MacKinnon should have higher ratings than what he has now.
It is being worked on and will be part of the next release.
There are however, some that have been worked upon, so it is not totally untouched

Most of the NHL players are the same as they were in 6.x. I'm re-rating all NHL players CA/PA and attributes as we speak. They will be in the next release. So don't worry about Nathan!

Haha good to hear! How long do you think it will take before it will be out? I so want to start up EHM soon.
