EVeryone sees things differently. I am in playoffs year four without my #3 or 4 dman, and have been without my 2nd line LW, 2nd Line C and #2 dman at some point this season at the same time. I lost my starting goalie for the first two weeks of year. I have had all my dmen hurt at one point this year. Other years...nothing. Simmonds was injured 3x for me this season and missed 21 days.
INjuries vary depending on what you do with your players. Have a look around, and see that there are about 400 threads and posts about this. Did we need another thread?

Not about ehm:ea and guess i think people like to talk about it in a new thread rather then digging up one from a game we are not playing anymore

Gee thanks Koek. except when you read the rules, it is clear you should bring the other threads up. Plus this is according to some:
1. A bug..so can be in there, not here
2. an issue with the simulation...so can be in there.
BRAND NEW THREADS.
So please have a look at the forum guidelines and respect the wishes of the man who runs this forum. Thanks

Not at TBL! Organization/effort have made TBL very searchable, and it's a spectacularly fantastic source of knowledge for EHM because of it.
It is not like other sites, and we don't want it to be

We're talking about a new game, not EHM 2007. So where would one have to put a question like this then?
Also: a forum is more searchable if the threadtitles reflect the issues discussed rather then having a thread "Feedback on simulation", which can be anything.

I've read the forum guidelines:
x Please perform a Forum search before posting a thread.
x Check the Frequently Asked Questions Box located at the top of the Graphics & Game Add-ons Forum.
x Please don't post ALL IN CAPITALS.
x Ensure your thread title summarises the topic of your thread.
Posts that create a negative atmosphere, or could potentially create such an atmosphere, within the Forums will not be tolerated.
I've done all that, searched for "ehm ea injuries and fatigue" and only found a thread about fatigue. So this makes me think this thread perfect, until we started discussing about creating new threads, then it started to become a potentially negative atmosphere.
But let's revert to the original question gents and let the moderators close the thread if they think it shouldn't be here

Dear sir,
Once again, not getting the point. The bugs thread has tons in it about injury issue, the sim thread is the perfect thread. If you really did not want to discuss it and revert to original topic you would have. YOu did not. So you are looking for an argument, and guess what? You have one.
You clearly did not search right because I have searched and found tons. Just the word "injuries" brought up 7 threads on one page, all related to EHM EA.
Once again, please read through the guidelines archi has for the forum. You do not get to make the rules, he does.

Batdad's right - we don't need multiple threads about the injuries/fatigue. There have been numerous new topics started and each time I've had to waste time merging them into this one (as I have with many other topics).
Lets get back on topic otherwise I think I'll lock this one.

I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed a higher amount of injuries after the last few patches? I seem to be hit with a number of injuries every season now. Mostly short term (7-14 days). Not really so much that I am complaining though, but certainly notice it. Plus last season I had 1 month on Weber, 3 months on Forsberg and 4 months on Rinne, last 2 players missed the playoffs. Latest season and again my starting goalie has been hit with a 4 month UCL tear injurie, this time it's Saros though. This game does not want me to win that cup again it seems.

There does seem to be more, and not really the same injuries so not 'prone to injury'.
McDavid is becoming a regular 60 games only player for me, and usually misses a few in the playoffs too.
It could be that the effects of practice intensity were tweaked so schedules need changing, though player condition is staying high.

I haven't yet had any significant injuries. Worst I had was a guy get hurt for 1 month during the playoffs. Interestingly I had probably more playoff between series practice injuries than I had in the rest of the season.

Like saberhagne83 says, I also noticed higher amount of injuries after the latest patch and rosters update. I first start playing with TPS in Finnish League and after 20 games I lost 6 player within a week and reason was every player same "..be out of action for about 4 months after he suffered a UCL tear in practise...". At the time I just thought that they got bad number in lottery but same thing happened my new game with NYI after 50 games, again six players and same reason with a little bonus, Visnosky retires due to injury.
Strange things happens but is this normal?

I've seen that reported, but hasn't happened to me. Must be some kind of bug that happens in some (rare?) cases.

Something about fatigue from practicing that I do not understand...
I can set my practices to none during the pre-season so that players can get a good rest (supposedly). If I sim it for 2 weeks, they are all listed as tired. This is before I even play a game or practice at all. Why is this? My players aren't able to rest and eventually, their condition will drop to 0 and every single one of them will be tired or injured before a single game is played.

I wouldn't say they are tired, they are out of shape. For resting. With a nice cold one.

Ha-ha, probably. And btw, apparently there is a period in July where Resting doesn't rest players, but right when August hit, they started to rest again. Then I followed the above advice with all intense training.

4 of my top guys just went down with Ucl tears within a few days. Is that just bad luck, or is there something I am doing wrong?

I will go with ad luck and potentially injuryprone players. I lost about one or two man-games the whole last season I played, that is absurd in the other direction.
