Hi I am missing application data in my personal folder where to find them

NOt application data in my computer can anybody please help. Game was unninstalled already but still the same,...it looks settings were kept.

Hi Guys,

I am not able to start EHM 1 due to screen resolution.
I found several advices how to fix this but I am not able to find on my laptom in local user folder application data folder.
Any idea how to fix it?

Try performing a search for the file "game.cfg" on your computer. This file will be located in the "temporary" folder.

Hi, so I bought this game yesterday and it went like this:

- Start new career.
- Day 1, I see fonts are a bit small so I resize resultion to 1440*something.
- Screen immediately goes crazy with blinking.
- I try to kill everything in task manager, Alt F4, Steam shutdown, anyware. No go, I have to cut the power to the system.
- I validate integrity, view previous point, rinse and repeat. Now screen and system goes wild as soon as I want to play.
- I uninstall, shut down system, turn system on, install, NOpe, still system freezes.

So i want to give this another try before asking for refund, to me it seems like there is some file somewhere that makes my game keep wanting to start game in 1440*sth resultution even with uninstall. Or maybe something else ?

I bought eastside hockey on steam today and every time I have tried to start the game steams says the game is launching and it says its running for a couple seconds then it just stops. I have verified the files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game and steam, reset my computer and shut it down, tried running it in every version of windows in compatibility mode, updated my video card and downloaded new C++ and direct x drivers. I run a lot of steams games also and this is the only one I'm having the issue of not starting.

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
RAM 16 GB

I got it! In case anybody else has the same problem and is just trying to get back into the game, I looked around a little more and found something that I hadn't seen yet in that their is a folder in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\EHM\ called temporary and their are a couple old .cfg files that need to be deleted. Thanks to whoever figured this out!

Hello!

I've been playing EHM ever since the release of Early Access and have never had any real problems with it. Occasional crashes, but nothing worse. Six months or so ago, however, the game just stopped launching. I suspect it might be because I had to temporarily switch graphics cards; I played on the original card, switched to an older card for a few weeks and played EHM, and then switched back to the original. Since then, the game doesn't start up at all.

All that happens is that after accepting to run as administrator, the game tries to load for a few seconds and then just stops. In Steam, it says "launching" for a few seconds and then the button goes back to say "play" again as if nothing happened.

* I have re-verified the cache several times
* I have re-installed the game completely (and then re-verified cache again)
* No other Steam games cause me any problems, nor do any non-Steam games; this issue seems strictly limited to EHM

What can I do?

Hi McDankeyKang - see below two solutions you could try. I would recommend installing the v1.5 beta if you haven't already.


SOLUTION 1

1. Delete the all of the .cfg files file from C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\EHM\Temporary
2. Load the game and it should hopefully work.
3. Try using the borderless windowed mode from the Game Preferences in-game. Resolution issues have been a frequent source of the game not loading - sometimes it is because full screen mode doesn't work with your graphics card/resolution or because there isn't enough space in your resolution using the window border in windowed mode .


SOLUTION 2

For you guys with the DirectX problem. I had it myself for weeks. Finally managed to solve it. What I did was as following.

1. Change the screen resolution of your desktop top 1024*768. After you've changed the resolution, don't close the window where you can change the resolution.
2. Start the game.
3. Go to preferences and untick "Play sound"
4. Tab out of the game
5. Change your screen resolution to 1920*1080 or whatever you want
6. Tab in to the game
7. Go to preferences. Select Window mode
8. Select a resultion that is lower than your screen resolution. For me, it was 1400*900 as I wanted to play in a windowed mode, and be able to scroll the interwebz without tabing out of the game.
9. That should work and you can now play EHM: EA in windowed mode.

NOTE: You can also select to play in full screen mode in your resolution if that is what you wan't to do.

Hi, just wondering if anyone else has had problems with Beta? I tried to launch it but Steam gives me an ''error code 51'' every time I try to start it. So if someone has had this and managed to fix it, would be wonderful if someone can help me.
