Yeah it's worrying. Same with the Phoenix too, IMO. I guess we'll find out tomorrow or later this week.

Well, Bracknell is sounding promising as they've been granted the licence by John Nike. Next hurdle is to convince the league on Wednesday.
No news on Phoenix is more worrying, and there is going to be a big shortage of quality players for them to sign in the North.

I was fully expecting this to be a GM job.

I'm not sure a gm job (in the uk) would pay that much

Crikey, a (alleged) hacked twitter account for a club, I've seen everything now!
This reminds me of the time (a bit before my time, really) when some BNL club owners registered company names and domain names for the Elite League to stop the Elite League getting those names when they first started up (which just seems like a waste of money & time!)

Chuck Weber becomes assistant coach at Rochester in the AHL. I notice a couple of familiar faces in Coventry's tweet announcing it

British hockey can be so embarrasing sometimes. Freezing Point were liquidated with approximately £60,000 worth of debt to creditors and £600,000 to Neil Morris. The creditors included SilverBlades (the ice rink owners of Altrincham Ice Rink) who were owed £1. SilverBlades then post on The Hockey Forum (of all places!!! not an official statement or anythng like that...) with a copy of a court order showing that Freezing Point owe SilverBlades £43,214 (SIlverBlades sued Freezing Point). What an absolute farce, and also incredible that Phoenox were allowed back in to the league this season

Shambles didn't any teams from the NIHL not want to come up to the EPL?

I don't think any teams can afford to step up, particularly at such a late stage in the summer. I think it would require a full season to plan and recruit properly. When the new Leeds rink is built then that might be a possibility, and Blackburn is also a possibility (both SilverBlades rinks), however with Milton Keynes moving to the Elite League next year this leaves another gap in the league that may need filling

The biggest shame and shock is that people will still buy season tickets and everything else and donate to this idiot Neil Morris again when the time comes

Stats in his last season in Denmark look good so hopefully he can continue that into this season
