Archi - you rule this is one of the most entartaining things i've never seen
We're doing well so far, but we need to improve our defense. The average +/- is pretty bad!

Yeah, KH's definately right! About the defence, do you think Detroit is willing to give up Lidström for... uh... eh... me?

Bah, forget it!
I can maybe be a decent payment for... Derek Meech? Bah, forget it again!

I'm glad that everyone's enjoying this
Yeah I agree, defence is our weakpoint - especially on the PK. We do seem to be improving and hopefully our team will gel together over the course of the season.
There will be a few games later this afternoon/early evening (UK time).

Lol if that were only possible.

I'm afraid it's only possible to add players using the pre-game editor. It's not possible to add players during the game

2nd Nov: TBL 4s @ 3 Was
A pretty close game; especially in the third period. Our PK lines are our downfall (as always). Mr. Gretzky needs to sort this out, dammit! We had
63 shot attempts but only 36 were on goal.

A 90% pass success is pretty impressive, too.

You should go into the tactics page and clear the lines out. Then ask Gretz to go back to the drawingboard on lines and see if things roll better for the PK under his new plan. Give the team a little shakeup.

As far as I know, he sets the lines every match so they shouldn't stay the same for every game. But, yes, I'll give it a go

You were pretty worked up... you probably woulda drawn a suspension but we pulled you away before you insulted his mother or made any colorful gestures in his direction

Time to have a firesale soon?

Wonder what I'm worth on the market.
I'd great if you could post screenshots of all players on Team TBL...
Great work!

To try to bring in some experience for our defensive lines, I'm trying to bring in Glen Wesley. He has fairly impressive defensive attributes as well as good team work attributes - hopefully he can command the defensive, particularly during short-handed situations. We should be able to get him without losing too big an asset:

After a little negotiation, we've signed Glen Wesley. Let's hope he makes a difference.
Also, I came across this funny pic:

13th Nov: Edm 2ot @ 1 TBL
Another lead thrown away late into the third.
Time to make some changes:
- sort out training
- alter Gretzky's tactics
- clear the lines just to make sure Gretzky chooses them from scratch.

17th Nov: Nyr 3 @ 4 TBL
Prior to the game I altered the tactics of the top two lines a little. Perhaps it made a difference! The game was very close and could have gone eitherway. The difference between the two teams was the partnership between myself and Octavian

In fact, just over half of our team scored a point in the game - nice going!
In practice after the game The Blue Meanie sustained a hip flexor injury, putting him out of action for two weeks.
