Well can anyone just tell me how i can edit Newcastle Vipers out of the Elite league and replace them with Fife Flyers?

Use the Pre-game editor.
Remove Newcastle by clearing Nation, Division and Other Division.
Add exactly what was in those three to Fife.
Save.
Start a new game

I hope I've not done anything wrong but ive been updating this database myself for the unasigned NHL players/moves from the original roster done above until the start of this season, (about 10 teams left to do) everyone is welcome to it, if thats ok with the boards.

So far I've only done the majority of the moves, contract Lengths & amended an odd Place of Birth & a retirement, that I found diffent from the NHL.com team roster pages, I'm a bit new to this sort of thing but i've worked on the concept that if someone signed a new contract in 2011 & its for 5 years then as the game starts in Aug 2006 it will end in 2011 (depending on the month they agreed terms), For example with Brad Marchand (Wikipedia says he signed on the 14th Sept 2011) So as the game starts in Aug 2006 I've given him a contract from 14th the actual date he signed according to wikipedia! (It could be wrong? but I couldnt find great place for contract start dates details) of either July or Aug (I cant remember exactly I varied a few just so they would not all would end on same date) So that I made sure, in brads case his contract would start just b4 the August starting month, lasting 2 years (I tried to use the correcting starting date & just varied the months contract to contract to add variety) In some case i couldnt find exact contract lenghth, in these situation i took an average of 3yrs.

I've not done anything with draft picks or history ( I know i should but i kinda just want to get a new game underway) it take long enough amending players/clubs/contract lengths

Finally as I say not done this b4 I just hope ive not done anything wrong that conflicts with the game!...lol

Lol, I check here every day to see if Lida's has new rosters. So Roenick, when you are done with all the teams, if you plan on finishing, private message me a link for it please I'll update ratings myself if needed and if wanted, I could send it back. I don't think they want you posting links on the actual board. But I've seen Manimal tell someone it's okay to edit the database. Maninmal, what exactly do you need done? Send some details, I could have you what you need in very short time, and hopefully you can finish this!

I'm almost done, with the player movements..just Got the Blues, Lightning, Leafs, Nucks, Caps & Jets left do look at...been a bit busy recently
