I think it was a work in progress but there is still an awful lot that has been done.

You question about Lidas v2.1 and CSD doesn't belong in this thread. I've replied to your queries in the correct thread: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 76#p140576

I started a game a few days ago using this DB and have found it a lot of fun.

Yeah, a lot of guys' physical attributes (Speed, etc) are off, but it's that way for basically everyone in the DB so it doesn't have a huge effect IMO.

However, I've had a lot of fun taking over an empty NHL club (Atlanta, Minnesota, Columbus) and building them from scratch.

Started a game with the Canucks and I used the CSD patch, Todd Bertuzzi is 13 y/o :joy:

Also is there a way to delete all Stanley Cup history from 1999 onward? Sorry Dallas Stars, no cup for you!

What start date have you used? I found that anything before 2006/07 results in the league schedules at around December of the first season disappearing - and they never reappear again (not even the following season).

Competition history cannot be easily edited at the moment - bit I'll be adding this to the EHM Updater next week.

I like this 98/99 retro roster pack. So I decided to update it myself. I'm fixing the speed/acc issue, and other attributes.
I will also change MIN,CB,ATL to QUE, HAR, WIN instead so it has a more classic feel to it. I will also add a logo pack to it.
This project will take some time, but I swear I'll finish it. And of course most of the credits goes to Lazion for this great pack! :-)

Well somehow the database disappeared... I only have a save file now of the new database with their updates. :dunno: I have around 20 different databases and I'm sure I went through them all but none of them was the correct one. Well I'm one more time gonna look through all the databases and hope I find it. And I don't even remember deleting any database. :-( If I was able to get the data from the "save game" file it'd be a life saver.

That's an interesting challenge! Would you mind uploading a copy of your saved game?

Thanks! :-) You can try but I don't think it's possible. And this save is from "2008", which means I've played 2 seasons already, so all players has evolved. If that even matters?! :dunno:

Ah I see... That makes things a little harder. I can get things like rosters, team names, competition names, arenas, etc - basically everything except player attributes and player career history. But I suppose that's not going to be all that useful if all of the players are on the wrong teams. I can still do it, though, if you like.

No, thanks anyway. :-) All the players are in the right teams and stuff (which Lazion did), it was just that I edited the attributes of almost all NHL players.

I'm gonnna revive this database again. :-)

Is there someone here who has a lot of knowledge about 90's players? I'd like to give an excel file to someone who knows the players and check the CA/PA I've given to them. :-)

So I've been editing this DB this week. So far I've edited all GKs in NHL, and a couple of teams. To be exact I've edited 17% of all NHL players. :-) (Excel calculates these edits) I'm manually adding attributes to ALL NHL players. :-) When these 900 players are done, I'll look into future prospects.

UPDATE: 33% of all NHL players done. :-) Right now I'm doing "rubbish" players for all teams. :-D When these are done it will be more fun to do players I know of. :-p

Been working my a** off today with this update. Now I've managed to get up to 50% of all players done. :-)

So no one here care to take a look at the PA/CA I've given the players? Any volunteer?

Yes! But not until later in the month/month end...
I'm working on OHL/QMJHL draftees for the TBL rosters, so it won't be until my TBL roster work is done...if you'd like, I'll send you my email address once I have the time and you can send me the database for feedback

Cool! 8-) No hurries, this db takes some time as you can imagine. :-p You can send a private message to me with your e-mail when you want me to send it to you. (I have an Excel file with all players and stuff 8-) )

I need someones input on a few questions here...
1. What should I do with Pavel Bure. In 1998 he had a contract with the Canucks, but he refused to play. So they traded him after half season to the Panthers. :-k
2. Then there is Mario Lemieux. He was "absent" at the time, but still in Penguins, made a comeback 2000.

I'd keep Pavel on the canucks, maybe unsigned but keep his rights there.. Human or AI can then either sign or trade him. Lemieux with the pens as well... maybe signed but injured long term if possible or just his rights with the pens same as Bure.... whatever seems to work best I guess.
