I tried to use the realism patch and I don't know how to use it, I have no qualms about using it as it would help the goalies.

Just use the standard Manimal v4.2 database for the time being. Once you have added all of the players, email the database to me and I will apply the patch for you.

Btw, if you tried to use the Realism Patch, I recommend deleting the database and starting again. You may have inadvertently applied the patch more than once (and this will greatly reduce all of the attributes beyond what it should).

Ok, I'm doing the sheet right now, but I've got a question to ask: can we move points between categories? For example if I don't want to create a fighter, can I move some points from the Fighting section to, say, Mental or whatever?

Also, I have absolutely no clue how big should the poor bugger be to grow into a reasonable NHL-frame (say 6'1", 190lbs). I put something in, but how it will turn out, well, we'll see.

10 of 15 created, each of you will get a chance to review the database and your player and tell me if i made anymistakes, which I will correct, Is anyone willing to update the Sherbrooke roster ? or should I just leave it ? I for one would like to have it, but im pressed for time. The Q draft isn't till saturday after which time sherbrooke's final roster will be set.

Created everyone, sent some of you an email with the DB asking you to check your player for errors, im having trouble uploading the DB right now, and i dont know why, can anyone who received put it on their sky drive so the others can see their player to be sure all is in orfer, if their are erros email me.

Your welcome, and I forgot to rename the database... Let me say, this database is not intended to be an authentic simulation, it is for fantasy use ! (no patch)

I also do not own this database, it belongs to noone, however the database on which this database is built upon is owned by manimal.
I will however rename it, and maybe throw in a few legends ? And post it here with Manimals permission. That way people could just add themselves an run future Create a Stars...

Each player has his separate album, I will upload stats for now at the end of the year due to time constraints, aswell as attributes.

i have selected all leagues with full sim, and i will post the draft rankings aswell. I am simming 3 months at a time.

P.s. I'm sure Manimal will be okay with this (he's unable to respond as he's on holiday at the moment). You were courteous enough to mention that it's his database and this is just a community game anyhow (it's not like you're ripping off his work).

WHL Bantam Draft Update


The 1st pick was one of our own, as was the 2nd.

Nice solid first season in the NOJHL by my guy. And hey an improvment in a mental catagory! My teamwork went up 5 points. Everything in Strenght adn Techinical went up except my Positioning which stayed the same.

Yeah, the 1-100 scale is a bit disorientating, but I'll get used to it if you cannot change it.

Wow, what a great season for my player in the juniors! 40 GP and 85 pts - woohoo! I thought I'd made a mistake making my player only 5-foot-7 but apparently it's not that much of a hindrance. It's interesting to see that quite a few of my attributes have increased over the season. Strength in particular has increased by over 10%. In fact, quite a few of my technical attributes have also increased.

My player grew 2 inches and gained 4 pounds this season! The only mental attribute that went up was Teamwork. Physical and Technical attributes are progressing nicely. Looks like my player is off to a good start!

I find the 1-100 scale more accurate, but at the request of the people I shall change it, I apologize that the project has been so bare, however ive been extremely, Im simming from OCT2012 to APR2013 after which I will update, and on july 2013 ill post comprehensive screenshots (Careerstats, Attributes, Personnel, Scouting reports)

I guess i overdid it(acceleration-95) or failed(Bravery-25) with some attributes as i wanted him to be a good player on both ends. Too bad that his bravery remain the same through his entire carrer lol. But progress is there, technicals went up by 5-15 points and physicals by 10 points. In addition, 74 pts in 58 game and rating of 7,46, that's solid.

edit - i am used to 1-20 scale as well, but it's no big deal if you continue to use 1-100
