I don't really like Avery, but i prefer him on the ice than on hospital...

Btw, the Pens are 7-0 now... Which made me wonder: was there any team in NHL history who went 16-0? :-? (Nah, not the Undertaker, roh... :D)

I doubt it...If there IS a team like that,I would be very surprised.
But maybe someday...in 2020 maybe? :-D

Nah,Pens will lose eventually..If not to the Rangers, then it's Philly(I assume they take Canadiens out)

^^^Kiss of death?

No team has ever gone 16-0.

Well it looks like I gave the kiss of death to the Rangers...
Who now?

Well..we have many Habs fans here. We have many Flyers fans here. We have a few Sharks fans here. We have a few Wings fans here.

GO STARS! GO STARS! GO STARS! (most will thank me later) :-D

Yeah..we prolly have a few Stars fans...but I think they are the fewest of the teams left.

No kidding eh?

Biron has been ridiculous in this series. I'm thinking about driving to Montreal for the game on Saturday and taking him out at the knees on his way into the arena. 8-)

I don't know :-? I think you would have to get past Scottie Hartnel, Derrian Hatcher and Mike Richards first to get to him :-D

I think Biron is really fired up playing against the Habs.
he didn't look that good against the Cr*pitals.

I know he's deep in the NHL playoffs right now, but I wonder if anyone has asked Richards about his OHL team.

He was the captain of our Rangers and helped them win the OHL Championship and Memorial Cup in'03, the team is headed there again this year as hosts but are also favoured to win the OHL championship again, and are in fact up 1-0 against Bellevile.

Again I know he's probably very focused on the Flyers right now, but it something I've always wonder with guys like Ricahrds who quickly become the heart of whatever team they play on.

Exactly.Philly at last have a chance to go deep in the playoffs.Marty was unbeliavable last night.
Canadiens are over shooting Flyers, but they can't score. On the other hand Philly is using their chances with a very good percentage.

See you in the finals Crosby

Great game from the Rangers. Glad to see that series continue back to Pittsburgh.

My Avs are getting ready to start, and probably get swept by the Redwings. :\

Good job batdad....you officialy jinxed the Pens :P I'm blaming this ALL on you.

Not that I am a Pens fan but I have Malkin and Crosby in my pool (like everyone else does)

Wings Sweep Avs in WSF :groupwave: :ohyeah: :wtg:

True, true. Maybe we can pry Gilbert Brule away from the Bluejackets. Build for the future, you know. ;)

I honestly think the Avs are going to be better off building for the future. Go ahead and be bad for a couple years and let your youngsters develop with lots of ice time. If they were smart, they would've dealt a lot of their older players at the deadline and stocked up on younger players. It might be bad in the short term but they'd be better off in the long term.

timmy: you have done well with a lower mainland center in the past? Whay not again?

IMHO--The avs are looking to be the weakest team in the North West in a couple of years. But then again: Stastny, Wolski, and Svatos should help that a ton. And I really like Jones.

It's hard when you're used to see your team have great seasons, and then they crumble like this. I wish they didn't have so many injury-prone players.

Paul Stastny is a rising star, but I'm not sure Joe Sakic will come back for another season.

I just hope the Red Wings don't win the Stanley Cup.

And here is my official prediction for Timmy T's sake,.

Red Wings will win lose the Stanley Cup to Pitttsburg in 6 games.

Well there ya have it. Official jinx of the Pens and hopefully Wings.

rangers Suck

Hey, I didn't know you were a Flyers fan...

Nah if he were a Flyers fan he would have said:

"it is hard when you are used to seeing your team have great seasons, and then their sieve of the month crumbles like this. I wish they had a decent goalie. :-D

And now...they do...

And now...like a Deatheater from Harry Potter...may the kiss of death suck the life from the Flyers.

If I keep this up..they will not award the Cup this year.

I hope they do get awarded in the end of the year..
Philly was twice underdog in this year's playoffs, and now it looks like they'll overcome both series victorious. So why not Pens?I don't see them being much better then Canadiens..

Crosby and Malkin won't win games by themselves. If Marty plays vs Pens like he does right now,and Umberger keeps scoring, there's no team who could stop Philly, not even mighty Red Wings.

PS.Too much convidence in Philly perhaps? :-p Well that's only my opinion..

The Flyers will beat Montreal. And if they continue their play into the next round, they will beat Pittsburgh... regardless of Crosby or Malkin.

I know I doubted them after they blew their lead against Washington, and then really doubted them going into Montreal... but right now they're playing better than I've seen them play in the past several years - too good for Pittsburgh to mean anything.

Though, wins/losses/odds aside, I'm absolutely dying for the next round to get here. Flyers vs. Pittsburgh in the playoffs will be exciting as hell to watch, and I can't wait. :joy:

Indeed m8.I've watched their games for a couple of years now..Even last year, when it was total disaster,I still watched them play..And I agree, this team is the best in a long time, they really have a shot now.

Series vs Pens would be awesome to watch..Their games are always close.
But for now, let's concentrate on game 5 vs Canadiens. After that we will know better.

PS.Nice to see Philly fans in here also
