When I'm looking for an AGM, I look for Judging Potential and Judging Ability for the same reasons that Thunderbug mentioned. I also look at Discipline and Motivating so that they might have an effect on the players but I'm not really sure if this makes a difference. Like Thunderbug, I don't really look at coaching skills unless I plan on having them come in as a head coach at some point down the road.

Any luck with vacationing past the date?
I suggest doing a backup save after every segment of stats you post. You can get rid of them after you're a decent way past but it help you recover from corruption.
Also, go to the Options menu in EHM and choose Preferences. In there you'll want to make sure "Save Compressed" is NOT checked. For some reason when this is checked there is a greater chance of experiencing corruption.

And "Save Compressed" was checked, even though I thougt it wasn't. Tried to continue with it un-checked but it didn't work.
Seems like my participation ends now

There is a thread that explains how to install the Lidas Rosters...francis246 wrote:That happened to me in one of my saves. It's because, I didn't put the lidas rosters into the game properly. But after I did I was able to continue. There should be a thread on how to place the roster files in the right spot. That may not be the problem though.

And I don't think not knowing how to install the rosters properly would cause file corruption. If you didn't install them in the right place, you wouldn't be able to start with the right rosters.

First of all I don't want to offend anyone. This will be my first challange and I am curious is it possible that we can influence team so much? I mean, we have players who finished last and few players that went well over 50% or even finished first. It would not look incredible to me if we could have done few trades in first year but we all play our first year with same players. What is the secret? Just tactics? I did invest quite a bit of my free time in reseraching tactics. Even made an excel base with over 30 sheets
. Can some of you that apparently play great share few tips with rest of us? Do you watch your games? Do you mix your lines?

It's all tactics. Well 90% tactics. You can't take a echl team and win the stanley cup with them no matter how good you are. I take that back maybe batdad could, but that's about it. It's figuring out what you have and how to best work with it. I use one set for each line, and also set individual tactics as well. A good practice regimen is extremely helpful as well.

I have a 0.617 winning percentage so far in season 1 so I guess that would make me someone who has his team playing 'great'. A lot of it has to do with tactics, but much also comes from having great practice routines. Here's some examples of how even deadbeat guys like Modin can make pretty useful players in a few months of good practice.

How do you folks set up your practices once the season is over? I've got my guys on a fitness schedule and it seems someone gets injured in practice every day. During the season, I had the majority of player attributes go up, so I don't want them to go down if I decide to rest players for an extended period.

This really isn't a question for this thread. This thread is for questions about the rules of the challenge.
I guess this could go over in the Challenge Discussion thread because it's talking about your challenge team but really, this question had been answered 100 time over in the Official Practice Thread. You could ask the question there or you could just read the thread and learn a whole lot.
