Heh. So I dress Budaj (Loss, 4 goals) because he is playing against St Louis and I think...well maybe...not likely...but maybe.
And I don't dress Smith (win, 1 goal) because they are playing Philly after a 7-1 trouncing by San Jose, and I think no way in hell.....
Um...ya gotta love the NHL>?

I got a good goalie night, Huet with a 1 goal against win Lehtonen with an overtime 2 goal loss, and last night i had lehtonen come in in relief of hedberg and not concede on 7 shots. I'll take that

Versteeg is on the market. I'm firstly looking for a top goalie.
I don't want a package coming back(ex. 1-for-2), but would consider packaging him
Blow me away with your offers

For that trade offer I can only thank you Batdad. You're always good for a laugh!

This is not going to sound good coming from a guy with goaltending issues in the pool. However, I think for future pools save % and Avg should not be a stat category. Instead it should simply be Goals against and Saves. Why? because theoretically a guy with a goalie who plays 1 game all season could have better numbers than anyone else in the pool in those two categories. Either that or a minimum number of minutes must be required, which I don't think is possible in the poolie internet world.
For example...if I had never played Budaj and Smith and only played Boucher and varlamov when I had him...I would have 1 point in wins, but 20 in both save % and average for a total of 41 points. Right now, I have 13, 6, 7 for 26. That is a monster difference, and I am using only goalies that are not really NHL goalies at this point.
Also, for future...since some are drafting online and some are not ... to make things more fair...all goalies should either be drafted in the 1st 3 rounds or last 3 rounds. Just makes things simpler.

Hmm...Stats are wrong for Mike Smith tonight. Says only played 24 min and made 15 saves. But well...60 min and 23 saves. I am sure it will be corrected by morning.

Booo DEAD! Boooo DEAD!!! YAY! I got rid of him. Thanks Calv!!

That was a one-sided deal in my book. Batdad got a starting goalie on a top team without giving up too much. Just what he(and several others, grr!) was looking for.
At least now I won't get stupid offers including Budaj from you, but you probably got some other rubbish you'd want to unload

Me too, but Calv seems happy.
I can't seem to climb to 11th, i climb then slip, climb then slip. Come on team, put on a streak!

Heh. Manimal...you can think it was one sided, but Calv desperately needs dmen, and well...he got a decent one if the Nucks play a whole lot better.
Anyway....Calv...start offering Manimal Budaj!!!!

That's amazing Budaj for Kipper?!?
Batdad stop doing voodoo. It's not fair. ':-D'
Anyway I have Valiquette up for trade, anyone?, Calv?

No voodoo...just found the right deal. Guys, take a close look at Calv's TOI for dmen, and then at the extra he gets from Matt, as well as the point production. Then check all else.
Of course I think I got the better of the deal, I would not have made it if I did not. Also, there are some who think that the only way to get a starting goalie is to deal a Thornton or Lecavalier. Calv saw a chance to improve his team with Matty, and I saw a chance to improve mine with Kipper.
I think I get the better of the deal, because well....Kipper is decent (not as good as some have him rated anymore, but is getting hotter right now) and Montador's PIM's should help me. But I lose ice time, points, pp time, shots...and I really don't gain that many wins (Budaj is what 14 vs Kipper 21)
Its really an okay deal, unless Kipper goes Lebongo and has 4 straight shutouts.
I have seen bigger steals in this league...And one of the steals was from a guy in 1st or 2nd place right now.

Brian Elliott with another solid performance

and Vinny is playing well even with the trade rumours surrounding him. Cant wait to get Selanne and Lucic back playing again.

I really need Bergeron and Kessel to get healthy...

I really can't wait for this all star break, my max and pace has gone over in all categories except for D-men, so hopefully it will get back to normal after the break.

Actually...if I were you I would hope the All Star break does nothing to people's max and pace. You are one of the few in good shape.

But it's slowly creeping up day-by-day.
Briere is frustrating me too, just when he looks like he's back, he has a setback...

Mine goes up and down. Depending on of course how many players I dress that day. But if you look at others...they are in much worse spots than you. A few are not, but not many

I am way over in Max/Pace and I'm gonna have to scratch players more often. That's the reward you get from having healthy players...

Heh..
And well Budaj sure put on a performance for me in his last night with me. He was Vintage Boo die.
24 min, 12 saves, 4 goals against. Way to go Peter!!!

SO I betcha just about anyone with Oilers is a little upset tonite.
Me...not so much. I have Eric Cole: 1G, 1PPG, Even, 2 PIMs, 5 shots, 18 min of ice. Hmm....who dropped him for me? Thanks
How in gods name when you lose 10-2 and only 3 of the goals against you are PP goals, do you end up even? Especially when your goal is on the PP? Atta boy Eric. You were the only one to show up tonite in Deadmonton.

Yeah, I have picked up D-D as a FA. He let in 7 of the goals. A good way to spoil the night Turco gets a shutout.
At least Stafford got the trick

The trading deadline is about two weeks away. It would be good if everyone would update their trading block so we can see who is still active in the game. It is frustrating not getting a reply on a trade offer.
And everyone willing to trade me a good goalie is still welcome!
Noone has even made me a genuine offer (only Batkid with his laughable ones)

hEY...I will trade you Kipper for Ovenchicken and Turco.

That is way better than the Budaj for Ovenchicken offer...
