EHM The Blue Line

Sometimes (especially after I clear someone's team) when I press Confirm, it says " is not a valid integer value. It still goes through, but it's strange.

That usually means you didn't put something in a square or you wrote it blank with the Space-bar.

Ah my I'm in my second season with my Nordiques and I notice that I made two Tyler Myers in the game. The original and one I created because I thought he wasn't in the game. There's no way I can delete one in my game? I can only change it in the DB.

If you use the Saved Game Editor, only thing I can think of is make one really bad... You can edit CA and PA to whatever.

Also, if anyone could please put the 1.7 editor into a zip file or something, only way I seem to be able to download them. 1.5 is out dated

Thanks it work pretty good! Now I got one awful Myers who will never make it in the NHL and the one that will blow everything.

It happens when all I've done to it is make him a free agent. If there was anything blank there, it was there already.

Hey everyone I have a quick question. I brought up the task of switching ahl/echl teams for the Anaheim Ducks (both have been changed this season). I gave the ducks syracuse crunch for ahl (works perfect), and Elmira jackals for echl (doesnt work). My question is, what am I doing wrong here? When i try and assign players down to the new ECHL team, i just get a "no space on team" message(there are only 8 players on the roster for the ECHL team). Any ideas on what I did wrong? FYI-syracuse works perfectly

I can make games, but I cant figure out the pre game editor lol.

Any help will be great full.

Hi all,

Been playing this game a while and came across the editor via a Google search. I'd love to be able to use it but for some reason when I try and open it my PC recognises it as "Unknown File" as opposed to ".exe" as I think it should do. Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone offer any advice? I'm running Windows 7 so that might be the reason.

Problem solved! If anyone else is experiencing this, the trick is to save the file, then edit the name so it has .exe at the end

How can I fix that error? I can't start a new season.

Now I can start new game with no errors, but it still appear on my save game.

he i spent like 20 minutes looking thru this. i prolly missed it

Missing players. full contract in the pre game editor. then in game test it is missing.

any fix?

I have a Mac and I got EHM on here and I tried to download the editor but it won't allow me to open the exe zipfile for the Pre game editor. I was wondering if there is a Mac version out there.

The editor is PC only

Does it work if I've downloaded the game? I know I shouldnt but its an old game and difficult to get a hold of.

Iv'e downloaded the patch and the editor but I can't find any folder with a database in it?

Everything works fine but I can't get the updates, that I've made in the editor, in to my EHM.

Please help me.

I guess it depends; where did you download it from? And are you sure you have the latest patch (3.0.4)?

Yes, its patch 3.0.4.

The game itself is a torrent (not downloaded from eastsidehockeymanager.net) and it works fine, although im thinking of buying it.

The only files I can find in my version are:
games
print
search
tactics
traning
database (which is a downloaded file and not an original one).

So my problem is now that I cant seem to find a way to get the data, ive saved in the editor, into the game.

The patch is saved in "my document" (or just document as its called in Windows)

Would really appreciate the help.

since we can edit players DOB in bulk, any chance we can look into changing the draft year for players in bulk?

Ok, in the editor theres a tab that says,"Club competitions" and at the bottom there is a " Add new" field, so i tried to add the Spengler Cup. I had no problems with creating it but i cant put a team into it.
Maybe it is not possible to add a new league but why would there be a button for that if its not possible?

After you've created the league, save and exit and then try to add teams in it. That should work.

does anybody have any idea why ehm would load my database correctly as it was when i last edited it,yet the pre-game editor loads the database how it was before i edited it? has this happened to anyone else?

You load the database. You edit your data, then you press the "Confirm" button. Finally save your database.
