Archi: If you have instruments you can take them with you yes

TDGs first probably five jams were with us just standing around humming to each other though so it's not exactly a requirement heh.
However the band will all move to the jam location automagically when the time slot starts.
Ask Calv about the importance of staying for
the full four hours before moving your character away from the jam location though. You can move away and do other stuff once you start but it doesn't snap you back to the location of the jam afterwards.
So wait until four hours has passed and/or you get a message in your diary that says 'Finished jam session' or you will adversely affect the results you could have gained if say one of your bandmates hadn't have went home to get a book or hopped an early bus to London

Kris & Vinlo - I've booked us a jam session for 01/12/2006 12:00. Try not to do a Calv and walk out of the jam session halfway through (or run off to London)
I've sent you messages to remind you.
As our group has no money, I paid the $18 myself

I've made it to London too. It's nice to have that day early of breathing room. I bought myself a salad and a mineral water hoping that it would help my health. We'll see what happens there. I'm going to hang out at London Uni and see if I can work on my guitar skill. Any idea how much hotels are going to run us in London?

Ok Never Dies, it seems that tmr will be our Toronto show... are we all ready? I for one dont even know how we are going to get to TO? are we suppose to buy plane ticket using our own money? hitch-hike? or do we have a "band" wagon?

You can either go to an airport and buy a ticket, or you can click on the travel routes thing on the city page and it may come up under there. If it doesn't you will have to get a plane

I was reading the Popomundo forums and came across this info regarding world tours. I thought you guys might find it interesting...
"This is what I use when planning tours for rock bands. Of course there are alternatives and others may have a better idea. It's a circle, so start wherever you wish.
New York - London - Glasgow - Tromsø - Helsinki - Moscow - Vilnius - Berlin - Copenhagen - Stockholm - Amsterdam - Paris - Madrid - Porto - Barcelona - Rome - Istanbul - Dubrovnik - Melbourne - Buenos Aires - Rio de Janeiro - Säo Paulo - Los Angeles - Nashville - Toronto - New York"

Haha, I don't think were quite on the level where we can go on around the world tours, but cool find anyway.
Also, Jeb celebrated being in Europe for the first time by getting drunk on Canadian Whiskey. Hes been finding alot of things to celebrate lately.

I found the NYC Transit Authority. But how do you ride the bus? how does this place work? and most importantly what's the duration of the trip if I take the bus?
(Since I just added a big post I'm going to edit into yours for clarity
) To hitch a ride you go to City -> Travel Routes and move to the one you need move your character there and wait and you will hop on the next tour bus that heads for your destination. Flights to TOR are very cheap, so if you can afford the $90 or so you should do that eithr coming or going as that's one of the last items on your Mother list. To fly anywhere move your character to JFK Airport under 'City Services' and select your options for your flight.

We are pretty much following that route but ours jumps from London to Paris (it was sparked by the invite we got for Paris) then follows the hitchin routes from Paris so we aren't doing any long travel segments or back tracking having to hitch back through towns we've played already... Porto is closest to NYC and at that point I've admittedly worked us into a corner route-wise so that's when I have us planned to head back home and rest up for our competition gig which has sold over 600 tickets now!

I didn't know if we'd be able to make it for this long even and I guess time will tell
If we head back out after the comp I was looking at starting at Tromso -> Helsinki-> Stockholm -> Copenhaggen -> Vilinius -> Dubrovnik -> Istanbul but when we start touring the world we could do the circle thing. Not sure about Melbourne though; it's hella out of the way from everything, like playing a show on the South Pole basically
April got her third star in basic singing today so the Lead Singer of TDG now actually has the Lead Singer skill

Is it bad if I keep getting a message that "I didn't quite get it" when someone's trying to teach me a new skill?

Kris & Vinlo - I've accepted an invitation to play at Rodilla's NY on 11/12/2006 22:00
We'll be playing two songs we've written:
* Custard tastes better with compost (by me)
* I. Am. (by Kris)
Also we'll be doing a cover of Mudwrestling.
We better put in a couple of jam sessions before then!

I'm not positive on this but I think this is because you are trying to learn a skill that you don't have the base requirments for. Like if you tried to learn play electric guitar before you had the required three stars in basic string instruments... otherwise you don't actually get a message about time spent learning until you get the 'Eureka!' message. I could be wrong on that though. What are you trying to learn?
The Dead Generation has succesfully made it to London! Everyone here talks really wierd...

I also noticed today that we've now sold 712 tickets to our Competition show and it's still 44 days away! That's longer than we've been playing Popo from now

Looks like i made it to London without bringing a dose of typhus with me (stupid pain devil woman), so the bell can be put away for now. I don't need to call out UNCLEAN-UNCLEAN when anyone comes near me.

Ox, good to see you won't be putting on the black sackcloth and ringing your unclean bell

I'm still going to stay on this side of town until our show though if you don't mind
Hey mark; you need to get to Toronto for your show

See the blue text I added to thecoolstuff's message a few back.

Ok, I'm currently at the NY-Toronto Travel route, but our show is tonight at 10pm. Will I make it by bus?
Since I missed the 12:00 flight I'm not sure I wanted to board the 6pm flight which will left me little time to prepare for the show.
All you experienced people: what should I do? keep waiting the bus or board the plane at 6pm? (show's on 10pm)

I boarded the plane. The plane I go was supersonic, to heaven airport at 18,00 hours. Cost me 240.

What are you trying to learn?
Basic Lyrics.
Someone randomly came up to me last week and offered to teach it to me, so I accepted... but I've gotten several messages so far saying I didn't get it.

There's the travel routes guide I was mentioning earlier, it says its 6 hrs NYC to Toronto so you'd better fly I'd think, but I'm thrown off because TDG is in London so our time is different... All you have to do is make it to TO before the show starts.
