If we decide to do NHL, who do people want to manage? If we stay in the same conference (15 teams) we will meet quite often, and you will be in someones division, meaning you will meet a lot.

I dont mind being anyone within reason, and depending on other peoples choices

Well, If you have spyware you should get adaware SE (www.lavasoft.com). If you PC blocks it will mess up the game. We need a safe PC, mine is new and safe . But there is a problem coz joe can't join :S...

My computer is safe to, I got AdAware SE, Norton Antivirus 2004 and ZoneAlarm. I can host to.

looking, i have somthin called Ad-Aware se, McAfee pesonal fire wall,

basically for a few weeks now, it seems for no reason when AOL it just disconnects and reconnects straight away, today i think i disabled the firewall and it does not happen, il post again later, after a few hours, cos i think this has solved it, il ask my bro though hes the expert.

That piece of crack never works right. If you have McAfee, then you don't need Windows Firewall.

maybe, i did suspect that, earlier tonight i turne the McAfee firewall off, and in 3/4hrs of AOL - NO interruption,

my bro sais its not that, but i dont think so, big coincidence. it does it all the time i disable the firewall and my Pc is fine?

Don't turn of McAfee, it's a great firewall (I have it too ), turn of Windows Firewall. It might be disabling it because you have two firewalls at once.

If I may make a suggestion...

I think that initially, our group here should start out with a smaller league (ie. Austrian). Once we establish ourselves, maybe some other players will join up as well. When our online league 'membership' increases, we can play in the NHL.

Of course if everyone is dead set on playing in the NHL, that works for me as well

Well, i dont mind, i was looking forward to the NHL, but if everyone else wants a smaller league i wil do that, although im only an expert on NHL teams.

If we only have 5 players, or 7 if we are in the same conference think how good it will be, say Eastern 7 teams out of 15 fighting for playoff's, im just sayin that it will be just as good, and we will play often.

BUT i would do a smaller league

Hmm... I *might* possibly be able to play at the time you said. The problem is that I don't know what I'll be doing next weekend.

Is 18h GMT 18h UK time, and therefore 19h Dutch time? I always get confused as to when the UK is one hour ahead of GMT and when it's not

Anyone got any league preferences? i am still in favour of the NHL for the following reasons, but im open to discussion/ debate, everyone chip in with ya ideas:

- everyone knows teams
- very competitive
- if were all in same conference play very often
- 15 team conferences, means can let more people join
- good post-season
- drafts will be good fun

what does everyone else think?

OK, so if archibalduk cannot play i propose the following

5 players

we agree tomorrow on one of the NHL's 6 Divisions (5teams) and be a team each. This means we shall play many games between each other, and be very competitive. If you we decide to not be in the same division stay in the conference to ensure a lot of games vs each other. Below are the divisions, we shall pick tmrw if you fellow gamers want this to happen/ if not we'll talk about another league, but i think the host should get 1st pick of team in the division we do, and we will have to agree on who gets the others.

Think how good tradin will be with these teams, and the waiver and prospect drafts, NHL playoff's, etc
