How is that a stupid move, his player left the team, he did not really have any other choice.

He just miss ONE training, you give him a warning and that's it. You don't give up such a prospect for one miss training, in my game Ilya Kovalchuk miss one training and i didn't trade him for that, i just give him a warning and he accept it and that never happen again. Miss a training is not left the team at all.

It wasn't one training. He was absent for at least 2 weeks.

Thanks for the update. 2 weeks? I never seen this before wow. You've got your own Sergei Kostitsyn. It's sucks for you though, the Hasek regen is always a good goalie.





EDIT: Sorry i wrote Joseph instead of Hasek. Oh and....Hasek regen is not always a good goalie.

Yeah, luckily the picks ended up being 5th and 8th, so I picked up two players.

Sounds like his personality would not stand for being the backup, so you had 2 options, you either put him in the AHL, or you trade Lu and make him the starter.

Just found the Hasek regen in the upcoming 2010 NHL entry draft. He is only ranked at number 45 in peliminaries so he probably will move up. He has 20 in flair and reflexes and stat goes below 10. If he is ranked that high up should i wait for him or take him earlier(like first 20 picks)?

Hows your goaltedning situation? If you have a young stud like Steve Mason than id say wait and if your goalie is Chris Osgood i'd say take him early.

I know this is a quite old topic but... Is it possible that Hasek regen wasn't drafted in 2009 and isn't eligible for 2010 draft? I looked for him in 2009, now it's November 2009 and I can't find any Czech goalie with flair that high. In fact, there are only two Czech goalies with flair higher than 14 in the whole game - Prusek (33 years old, 15 flair) and Duba (28 years old, 16 flair). I used the player search for that - is there any other way to find the regen (if he's there somewhere)? Or will he just emerge next year? I use the Updated Unfaked DB and in my previous game with this DB there was Hasek regen in 2010 draft.

If you are using one of the newer Manimal Rosters they removed all of the retired players from the game instead of letting them regen. I'm pretty sure that the last db that has the regens is 4.1b, and a lot of them have random potential instead of a fixed number (-14 or -15).

I wrote that I use the Updated Unfaked and that I had seen Hasek's regen in a previous game with the very same database. Moreover Hasek played the first season in this game.

Weird, I'm unable to find him even among 2011 draftees. Can anyone advise how to find him? Is it possible that he wasn't regenerated at all?

What database are you using right now? I didn't understand your post about the updated unfaking db, does that mean you are using the exact same db that you've seen Hasek in? Because the guy in the screenshot is not him.

And yes, it is the database I'd seen Hasek and his regen before (in previous game). Also there was Hasek playing the first season of this very game (the exact save). Then he retired and I awaited his regen but he apparently wouldn't come.

Sometimes the search function doesn't quite work. Might be, he's out there, but the search won't find him.

Tasku is right. Sometimes you need to go in the league and scout yourself to search the regen you want. Even your own scouts can forget or pass those players.

But he's too young (2012 Draft eligible) and a little too high - he should be 180 cm if height is preserved. He's acrobatic though.

Height can vary from a couple of cm. I would say it's him but....2012 draft doesn't work.

I'm sorry if I didn't understand that you were unable to find him on the same database you had previously used. I don't think that link is Hasek, I think that it's probably Roman Chechmanek.

Also, the other guys are right with their posts. Some things vary a little bit. On these regens their height and catching hand remain the same, but everything else is a little different.

Haven't found another candidate than this one. Could it be that he was accidentaly regenerated as 14 yo instead of 16? That would explain the 2012 draft maybe.
