Hey, picked getzlaf off waivers so its all good. Right now hes still on my 4th line (I'm swimming in talented centers...) but hes gonna be moving up on the deptch charts to possibly 2. Come Offseason as I make room for some of my prospects.

Ive gone through each and every SEL+Allsvenskan team, Seniors, J20, and J18, and checked who goes where...
Currently putting all info into one long file. 250+ transfers so far, and the list only reaches about halfway through SEL yet.

When that is finished, Im gonna take a look at the staff too.

Lidas and Gottschlich may want to somehow collaborate and compare notes because it'll save time for the both of you. I had no idea that Lidas was also working on Sweden - it appears I was away (I've been away for much of August) when you announced you'd work on it

It was mentioned here and at the mods forum, but I guess coming back from a while of being absent, there's a ton of new posts, and you're bound to not notice some of them... I should've PM'ed you, and not just assume you'll notice it...

Oh well, no harm done, instead of just having "someone working on updating the Swedish leagues", we now have a "Swedish League Update Team"

A quick progress update:

The NHL rosters are up-to-date as of this weekend. Today I've been adding all of the roster moves that have happened during my month's absence. I've also started updating the NHL player contracts. It's a really long and tedious task but today I managed to get six teams done - only 24 more to go! Once I've finished the contracts, I'll update the GMs and Head Coaches (many thanks to Jason P for researching this for me ). Also, I need to correct the NHL rights for those players that have moved to Europe this summer. If anyone has a spare five minutes, it would be great if you could help me find out who left as an RFA and who as a UFA (see this thread for more info).

If all goes to plan over the next ten days then I'd like to release a beta version around about the 7th September. I'm currently in the process of packing to move to a new flat as well as working my final few days at my current job so there are some things that may put this date back. However, as things currently stand, I am quite confident that I will be able to release a beta version on the 7th.

Why can't you assign the 07 Draft Picks (Kane to the Hawks etc....) and just make the 08 Draftees get drafted in the 07 year in the game. So instead of Taveres getting drafted in EHM in the year 2009, he would in turn get drafted in 2008.
