They aren't too bad, but I would maybe make them a bit bigger.

Well when I looked at them, I had to get closer to the screen to make sure I was seeing the right numbers, and I don't even wear glasses. I don't really know of a specific size to make them, but maybe just start over with the original size and make it a little bit smaller.

Yeah, we don't always open the recording page for second seasons right away but you can record them to the recording thread at any time. Make sure you read the Challenge Official Scoring & Second Season Info thread to get the details onw hat you need to do for carrying your game into a second season.

If you don't make the play offs, and you're decided on not to continue on with a challenge, do you still have to go through the entire play offs in order to post a screen shot?

Never mind, found the small print already.

Please note: The new stats page calculates total points, PP % and PK% automatically so there is no need in posting them in the recording thread
Thanks

Ok, at the risk of sounding like either a complete moron, or a complete a$$, I have some questions before I start my first challenge.

Please be assured I'm neither a moron nor an a$$. I just want to make sure I do this right.

I have read all 4 challenge announcement instruction posts word for word, letter for letter. I've read through a few of the challenge reporting threads and have a decent idea of what you guys are doing with these challenges.

What I don't understand are the challenge reporting methods.

1: Can someone give me an example of a properly completed challenge stats grid? I have the grid from the website and it's accompanying instruction sheet, and to be honest, my taxes make more sense to me. :-?

2: How is the gaming league republic website involved in all of this? I see tons of referneces to it all throughout the threads, and yet when I go to http://tblchallenge.leaguerepublic.com/ it looks like it hasn't been used in over a year?

3: Do we still have to send a PM to request to be added into the challenges, and include the "secret" password, or is that not a requirement anymore?

So thanks in advance for humoring a simple guy like me, and I look forward to your responses resolving my frustrations. ](*,) :-D

1) For an example look in the challenge stats recording thread in this forum.
2) We've moved to an ew system check out the link in the header image now called challenge stats
3) PMs are still required yes

I just had something come up I'm not sure about. When you post your quarterly stats, you have to post your player with the most PIMs. Is that most PIMs accrued for your team, or most PIMs overall for the season?

I have 1 guy who has a ton more PIMs for the season than anyone else on my roster, but I just acquired him via trade, so he only has 8 PIMs with my team in 12 games played.

Your team only...none from others count or at least that is what I was told.

Well, the 3.03 patch (and supposedly final patch) was released today:

http://www.sigames.com/downloads.php?type=view&id=377

What does that do to current challenges in progress?

I'd like this cleared up as well.

I just ran the patch without even thinking about the challenge.

cheers.

Feel free to apply the patch

Just fyi, the patch will change some player attributes.

The most glaring one to me is Anterro Nittymaki (sp?) of the Flyers. We all know in 3.02 his positioning is like -2 or something silly. In 3.03, it's restored back to "normal" levels.

Obvously there's no way to know how many players were changed and how much.

Not to mention McCabe's salary. All of a sudden I actually want the pokey little bonehead with a shot.

So you know...I installed the patch. Nitty in my game with CBJ, still has a postioning of 6 3 weeks (game time) after I apply it...so if you are in a saved game it will not change overnight.

These changes in attributes and salaries for players will only affect new games.

Yeah I knew that. I was just pointing it out for those in saved games who were continuing in a challenge. IE Those who have started season 1 of the LA Kings challenge.

I've got a question RE: Challenge 6.2

I'm in the middle of the off-season at the moment and have just signed my big ticket d-man. My cap number is $42.3 mil or so. Am I to understand from this post :
Minstrel wrote:Finances: TBL Budget You are also still required to stay within one million dollars US of the TBL budget, currently $36mil. This will be the same for all people regardless of what their board sets

With your first set of stats (Games 1-20) of your second (and each following) season you must again post a screenshot of your Finances page to confirm what your figure is. This will be recorded at GLR and team finance penalties for your season will be based upon that figure.
that I have to get under $36 mil for Game #20? or does this rule apply only to Challenge 7 and beyond? :dunno:

Thanks for the clarification.

Cheers.
