One year the Central division winner wouldn't have actually made the playoffs if not for the automatic 3rd seed for winning the division. Detroit had like 83 points, 10 less than the 8th seed but won their division, and the 9th seed was Minnesota with like 84 points. I Should have got a screenshot of it, i remember thinking "Oh Minnesota must be widdled"

I had a game last night with me Playing MTL and going against NJ. Using the latest db. I had 192 penalty minutes. 106 for me and 86 for NJ. Sooo many fights and 10 minute misconducts. In the 3rd period there was 5 fights going on at once, even Price and Brodeur got into a fight, they even got a game misconduct out of it.

Sadly I was trounced 8-0, but they were the ones who started the whole thing.

Wish I had some screenshots, but one of my guys hit 1081 penalty minutes in a season, before adding another 120 in 6 playoff games. He'd get a fight every game, get the 5 minute major, and then usually the 2 minute instigator and 10 minute misconduct.

It's quite easy to get a player over 1000 PM IMO. I easily get a 1000 PM each season with my enforcers.

Eager, Fritz, Dingman and I've pick a 5th rounder regen who's a real enforcer.

Not sure if this is a record or not, but Henrik Sedin just managed an 8-point game (1 G, 7 A) playing with Daniel and Ovechkin. Not bad! I'll get a pic up soon.

He scored 195 points (97+98) in 79 games for the Red Wings.

EDIT: NM, I get it now. There was one, but it's dead, and I see kickbiker's thread. Are any of these threads actually active? I'm pretty sure I've got some good PIM records going right now...

We encourage everyone to use old threads if the topic is the same. It's okay if the thread has been inactive. We'd rather you revive that old thread. We don't like having multiple threads of the same topic.

Hossa scored 108 goals, 221 points. On a line with Crosby and Malone. Crazy.

Pens still Lost 20 games and 7 OTL.

Next year he went back to the "usual" 57 goals

Also Hossa had 9 points in one game.

I'm Canada in Olympics 2010. And with Brodeur injured, Luongo played the first 3 games:

15-0 vs Switzerland

Going into the 4th, I wanted to give Turco some icetime, just in case Luongo got injured too. Just to give him a game to find some groove. Does this even count?
