Ugh - the Senators missed the playoffs yet again....Calv, I know it's a bit selfish to ask for a trade when I am getting so much ice time at the NHL level, but do you think you could find it in your heart to see whether there are any contending teams out there that would be interested in my services?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Well, traded for the 2nd time in as many seasons, but this time in a more flattering way.
Traded for 2 players and 2 draft picks (2nd & 3rd round), so it's nice to be wanted at the trade deadline. Much higher point totals than before, but far fewer fights. I wonder if my guy is getting out of the enforcing business?

Hmmm - rereading my post, I realize how much I sound like Danny Heatley. Ouch.

After six full seasons in Avalanche my guy got traded to Capitals and it seems that it was what he needed. For the first time in his NHL career he produced >point/game when he scored 30 points (8+22) in his 25 games with Capitals. And what is more important, his AvR rose over 7.00 for he first time in NHL. I hope he has a longer contract with Caps so he'll get a chance to improve his game next season.
Oh, and the trade was pretty interesting too. He was traded with Mattias Tedenby to Caps, when Avalanche got Matt Stajan, Toni Rajala, two 4th round picks and a 3rd round pick.
Here's a link to my player's page: Eero Kuula

I think it also has something to do with our teams we play on as well. My Lightnings do not seem to be scoring that much. Last season I had 262 GA, and the team had 261 GF, not very good. Plus our PPs sucked too. In 4 seasons with them we have yet to make the playoffs. Although I am dying to see how close we came this season, so I hope the conference screenshots come up soon. lolbobdude42 wrote:Wow, most of the goalies are terrible...
Only myself (Jazz) and McGraw had a GAA under 3.00
LOL Actually Gehrig makes more than I do. He makes over 5 mill. Both of our contracts end this year, so I hope I get a raise too.Plus I hope I get a payraise. McGraw makes 4M a year and I make 1,2 and we had almost identical numbers!!
darn you McGrawlol!!

One thing I am happy with is in 4 seasons I have 16 shut outs. I hope that gets up to an average of 6 a year, I would be very happy with that. Winning a cup would be nice too. lol I'm torn between staying on with the Lightnings or asking for a trade. I don't think the Lightning's have a good defence or offence, but I do like playing 72 games a season, if I got traded to a good team I don't want to become a backup, nor do I want to be traded to a worse team than the Lightnings. heh A few more green numbers would be of use for me too though.

I'll get you again next year! *shakes fist* Yeah, though. If I'm still there (I think this was a contract year for me), I hope we manage to finally get a playoff run going. I'd like to play in the second round, at least, someday. x.xjbsnadb wrote:So close!!!! 98 points, and I finally saw action in a full 82 games, two points more than Robertson for $4m less! We missed the playoffs for the third straight season, though and I hope the organization continues on the right path.
...Of course, if I'm not still there, all well-wishes are void.

Ok maybe not, he was actually +22 this season but a horrible -8 in 13 games in the playoffs. I hope he gets another chance next season. If he could only learn to skate he would be so much more effective in both ends of the ice.Marsac wrote:Huh? The Jackets made the finals? Can't say I saw that coming but I suppose it's all thanks to my guys stellar minus rating.

You're still playing in North America, right? I'm playing over in Europe for a team I've never heard of.bruins72 wrote:Well my player officially stinks. I don't think I've improved any attributes since early in juniors and my pro career seems to be getting worse and worse. I still don't understand why I'm not getting into fights though.

Yeah, I guess I should be happy to still be playing in the NHL. I just know my player is capable of so much more.thunderbug wrote:You're still playing in North America, right? I was in a contract year as well. Hopefully - as a Philly native - they re-sign me. It's hard to imagine why they wouldn't with two 95+ pt. seasons in a row at the bargain price of $2.3 mil. However, I may not be so much of a bargain now that my contract is up.LightRocket wrote:I'll get you again next year! *shakes fist* Yeah, though. Calv, I know you're already doing a tremendous amount of work, but I would love to know who has been named captain or alternate on their squads.
