Nice, being signed by the Canucks seems to have been a positive step for my guy despite taking a 1.3m paycut. He had his best season so far with 2G 39A +25. I still wish he could improve his skating though but I guess he's getting a bit old for that now. :-p

Thanks.
Mark Tulley: http://ehmtheblueline.weebly.com/mark-tulley.html

Spent the last 2 seasons at MODO, scoring 119 points in 96 games.

Before that played with Rochester in the AHL, scoring 262 points in 468 games.

Also played a couple of games with the Panthers and Florida Everblades

Last scout report suggested you were a 4th line Goal-scoring forward. A poor mans Ryan Clowe

Hey Calv, I was wondering if I won any awards with Farjestad?

Wow, going to Dallas wasn't a good move. They had the 3rd worst offence in the West. Plus my GAA is back over 3.00

I sure hope I hit the free agent market again after next season!!

Calv,

Are we going to see scout reports again? I'd like to see if scout opinion of me has improved. :-)

Arg! Thrashers missed the playoffs (dljfsafsadfjklsa By a single point, too!), and my point production went down again.

Ah well. Had my second 40 goal season, and another great +/- season. +53 over the last two seasons. Either I play better defense than my attributes warrant, or I play with some solid two-way players. Or the lines I'm on just score people into submission.

Hmm things are getting a bit busy with Roster update, moving flat etc.. and I'm about to lose internet again, so I may have a couple weeks off CAS.

I'll hopefully sort something out to keep you going over the next couple of weeks

I've uploaded a saved game from just before the first NHL draft which the TBLers are involved in, it can be found here:

http://www.filefront.com/14628909/Creat ... 0Star.zipx

It's in .zipx form so you may need the latest version of WinZip to open it, you can get a free trial here: http://www.winzip.com/downwz.htm

If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise!

Out of curiosity, I opened up the save in the editor to see what my player's potential is and he's been doing exactly as expected for that PA. What I found funny is that there is another defenseman with the same exact name that is a year old but he was born in Canada.

I might have to play around with this DB for a bit and see what I can do with the Bruins after they've been simmed for a couple years. It might be fun to take a team that the computer has ruined and build them back up. Plus, I can try to draft some TBLers!

Sorry if I'm totally wrong but: weren't we already drafted? My player is 26 years old, played for Bruins previous 7 seasons, now with Pens.
What's going on here? :-?

The save that Calv had put available for download is from earlier in our careers. He's got a different save that he's playing that has us much old (like 26 years old as you mentioned). He just made a backup copy before people started getting drafted into the NHL.

Indeed, this is a saved game from 2010, so if you want you can take over a team, draft yourself and take control over all of your career, see if you can do something differently etc..

WOW! The Bruins are such an OLD team! Their defense has a 37 year old, 3 38 year olds, a 39 year old, and a 42 year old! The other 3 guys are 28, 33 and 35. Such an old defense. There are also 3 forwards that are 35 or older. I think I'll rebuild that!

I made a couple trades to get the Bruins more draft picks in that first draft. For TBLers, I have Raiha, Robertson, and Wilson. I probably could have gotten a couple more TBLers but there were some really talented players available that I couldn't pass up.

I've got to wait until the next season to draft my player... even though he's a marginal NHLer. I'll at least make sure he fights!

Bruins

In your game could you check my player's (McGraw) potential and tell me if its good? :)

Thank you. You don't have to give me numbers, just if its good, average, bad. :-)
