So, my guy comes off of his career best 20-20 season in 80 games for the Oilers which I think is an okay season, but then I read his screenshot and it says:

Needs to improve defense, passing and stickhandling. Now the last two I can see, but what attribute would I have had to increase to help improve the defense?

Is a goal-scoring forward, but third line talent (which I translated to a Kris Draper like player) but, is a bigger more talented Nicklas Bergfors.

What the heck happened to Quad City in the playoffs? I had a .910 SV% but a 3.20 GAA and an AvR of 8.00 in 5 games. Did we ice a team of forwards?

Well, I don't know what to think about my career so far.

I'm 5 goals shy of 400, 33 points shy of 1,000, if I added it all up right. I've had numerous 30+ goal seasons in a row. While I've had two minus seasons in a row, I'm still very much in the + for my career. But, I've haven't been on a team that's advanced past the first round since the OHL days, and more often than not, the teams I'm on don't make the playoffs. x.x

On the amusing side, though. Apparently I'm a more talented version of Tom McQwak. XD

Ah well. Hopefully the Oilers will improve this year. Or I'll end up going to a team next year that'll win. But I'm getting to the point where I'm tempted to try asking for a trade to a good team. I'd certainly hate to, but at least my guy's good enough to warrant it.

Hah! Finally back in the NHL after almost 10 seasons of having been sent down in the minors!
Looks like the Blues signed me. My scouting report suggests I have 3rd line potential, and after seeing how my PA was so incredibly low, I am not surprised I ended up playing in Bridgeport for so long.
What I *AM* surprised about is how I managed to be drafted so high with such a low PA, hahah. Guess the scouts got that one wrong! :-D

Thanks again for all your continued hard work!!

Penguins beat the Sharks in the Stanley Cup Final.

Montpetit came 2nd in the +/- award, Mullane is 2nd in the Rocket and McQwak wins the Conn Smythe.

Update should be up tomorrow

FANTASTIC!!! After the first years in NHL struggling with Bruins I moved to Pittsburgh 4 seasons ago and now we won the Cup! :1st: And I won Conn Smythe Trophy! :joy: Cool career ending :-D
Looks like I created my Jagr regen correctly. Now I can hang the skates on, I'm satisfied ;)

And I'm earning $8.3m p/y  I wonder whether Crosby/Malkin are still with me in Pens.

Woah - traded to the Bruins?

What were the details of the trade Calv? Did I garner anything good in return. My career with the Flames was ho-hum. Put up decent numbers but didn't go anywhere in post season or win anything awards wise...

Go Bruins GO

Not bad - and just saw the stats posted - my first over 100 point season!

Go Bruins (although another first round playoff exit - I am cursed it seems).

I think it was a good move for my player to Tampa Bay, just had my best NHL season so far at the age of 32. 8-)

And it's also nice and warm weather compared to Bean Town. :P

and now it looks like I'm with the Flyers??? yikes!

Wow, what a horrible season with the Wings!

Calv, could you make sure that I don't re-sign with them?

Or if it's too late, could you try and see if I could be traded to a good team?

I'd like to take a shot at the Cup before I'm out of the league!

thanks!

Trade me too...please. The Panthers seem brutal, and I've had my least productive seasons in SoFla.
