I'm in march 09 only and Connolly retires due to injury. I know in the game he is fragile but he got a 5 months injury and is doctor recommand him to retire. I never see something like this happen this earlier in a game I've played.

This has happened to me a couple times. I remember signing Malkin as a free agent and he got injured and retired a month into the season. Also, when Malkin retired, I got some money because of insurance (or something to that effect).

Just finish my third season with the Hawks. Before the draft, I remark that Joe Thornton asn't been sign by any team for the complete season. I go to offer him a contract and he just want to be a core player and I've been able to sign him at only 2.2 millions per year. :-p :joy:

Is it a combination of his NHL career, plus his overall career totals?

It looks like he's 4 assists away from 100 NHL assists, but he's listed at 173 assists in his playing career.

Don't worry, it still doesn't make sense in your screen shot. ;) At least, not the way I'm reading it.

It's saying he's 4 assists away from 100. But then it duplicates that statement, and changes the milestone to 200. He is indeed 4 assists away from 100 in his NHL career, but where that 200 comes from, I can't figure out. :-k

The Hutch made a good point with NHL career/playing career, but he appears to be at 173 is his overall playing career: 27 assists away from 200. :dunno:

EDIT: Ok, nevermind, I got it. Like they always teach you in math and science class: don't forget your units. The 200 is referring to points. "Zherdev is 4 assists away from the career milestone of 100 assists. He is also 4 assists away from the career milestone of 200 points."

Not a very good way of putting it, though. They should have simply said he's 4 points away from 200, 'cause assists aren't the only way he could hit 200...

As a Rangers fan, I found this not only funny, but awesome.
It's too bad he's projected to be a fringe NHL'er at best.

This McGarry fellow is only 16, and yet scored 6 straight powerplay goals. Kelowna's PK fails hard. Also, despite putting up 6 goals in this game, and 3 others in two other games, he still didn't win WHL player of the week. Instead that went to his teammate, Sheen, who had 6 assists in this game, but only 8 points on the week.
