EHM The Blue Line

I was encountering problems with screen resolution and then I finally figured out how to change the target and run it in a windowed mode.

That worked. However, it was just with the original game without any mods or patches.

I patched the game with 3.04 (the most recent I believe) and then I tried to download rosters which I had to copy and paste manually instead of just replacing the folders because it just wouldn't work otherwise.

Now when I try to run the game it appears on my toolbar but the game doesn't actually start.

Any ideas as to why this is?

Furthermore, it's down in the taskbar and when I scroll over it the preview is just a white box but I can see a button that says Purchase, so I'm assuming this is the e-license thing.

No clue what to do.

Everything is installed correctly as far as I can tell, I've gone through a couple times and made sure of it. So it's just this problem, if anyone has any ideas, it'd be extremely appreciated, been trying to play for days.

Must have just been something not installed properly but after about 6 attempts at installation everything seems to be running smoothly.
