How to motivate team in playoffs?

Hi guys! :-)
I have the question about team's motivating, because I often find some troubles in playoffs.
My team always shows poor performance during the playoff: good performance (about 7.00 and more of the average rating from all playoffs games) is shown only by few my star-players (from 4 to 6 players of all team). All other players always shows bad performance (about 6.50 and less points). It wouldn't be a problem but my team always gets defeated in 1st or 2nd (rarely) round of playoffs. I'd already played 6 seasons for Flyers and my highest achievement is 1:4 in Second round against Sabres.
I don't coach games by myself (I always simulate games because I haven't enough time for playing every game). My head coach is Dan Bylsma (he's my third head coach), that have 19 in Motivating Attributes.
Does anyone know how to get the team's results better?

Not a motivation issue...an overtired wiped out issue. happens to a ton of teams in the playoffs. Have to spread ice time around more in the reg season unless you have an all superstar team. Coaches tactics may suck more than anything...or at least opposing coaches when playing you a ton of games in a row are likely figuring out what your coach does.

Getting the results--just have to make the team better...in all areas. Player personnel, staff, conditioning, development...and skill. Just have to get them to be more playoff ready.

Other than being very general no idea what is happeining...because I don't know who is on your team. Quite often the results for average rating drop when the guys are kind of tired. Check their condition at the end of period 2.

When I coach games (Which I know you do not do)...I will bench guys (no matter who they are) in the last bit of a game if conditioning is below 90%. Unless they are a superstar then the number is 85%. That helps protect leads.

But....if you are not coaching you have to rely on your duties as GM...and get better personnel, strong training methods etc on the map. I find motivation is not really a huge thing for games....more the players and more the systems. Motivation may be okay for practice...but in EHM not sure it relates much at all to games.

I have had coaches with high motivation and low motivation (When I am not coaching) and have done well in playoffs...
