EHM The Blue Line

I hope it isn't a pirate. I got a license with it which I got reset recently. I blotted out license number as I have one left.

To be honest, it seems highly suspicious to me. EHM 2007 was not sold on disc, apart from a small stock given to a few licensed leagues in Europe:

Having never seen these DVD copies myself, I don't know what they looked like, so it's possible that this is one of those. However, considering these discs were done for select hockey leagues, it's very odd that the DVD would be a three-game combo with OOTP Baseball and Football Manager. And that actually brings up another oddity - it's Worldwide Soccer Manager. If these DVDs were destined for European leagues, I doubt they'd use the North American retitled version of Football Manager.

So, yeah, in my own opinion, this seems very suspicious. Now that's not to say that it is pirated, just that it's not something I've ever seen or heard of in the world of EHM.

If I remember correctly I purchased online and got the code for around £20 and got sent the disk out as well. I spoke to eLicense via email to reissue my codes which they did with no quibbles so going to assume my code at least is legit. Weird.

I have a couple of the EHM 2007 CDs which Riz kindly gave me a while back. They certainly don't look like that. Also, the CD-ROM version doesn't include any eLicense DRM (the CD version is DRM free). It almost sounds like somebody has burned a CD with a bunch of Try'n'Buy demos.

Ultimately, if eLicense have re-issued the codes for you, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Football Manager 2007 CD has try'n'buy versions of EHM 2007 and OOTP 2006

I have the same disk. i bought it about 3-4 years ago I think. When my computer crashed I was able to get another license for it by sending them an email. Its legit.

I remember that when I bought EHM 2007 I got a disc with both EHM 2007 and a try 'n' buy of OOTP 2007 when I bought from the old page for the game, I think it was either nhleastsidehockeymanager.com or .net.

Either way it was run by SI back in the days.
