EHM The Blue Line

I know this is a stupid question, but do you watch all of your games ? Or you only simulate ?

I spend almost all my time editing, but when I do play EHM07 I myself really enjoy watching the 2D games

I must admit that watching games is really fun

I did in the beginning, but now I just watch the boxscore at high speed.

I never watch full games but I will occasionally watch parts of big games. Watching overtime in the playoffs at normal speed can be pretty entertaining.

Every once in a while I will, but 99% of the time I space bar sim them.

Pfffft, no. I never watch/coach. Ever. Never did with the freeware EHM either.

I want to get as far as possible, as fast as possible. I spend a lot of time managing my roster, working other GM"s over for trades, scouting heavily, etc. I simulate the day or session and move on. And 2007 especially takes a loooonnngg time to even get through a season. Used to be I could get through a season an evening on the freeware (that's how I'd get out to 2035, 2040, etc). Now I'm lucky even then if I can get out to 2015 on 2007.

I watch the important ones....the stuff leading up to big plays...forget what that is called (Usually the goals) just to see which idiot screwed up when I get scored on. And I watch those in particular when playing the Loafs so I can laugh at all their moron defensemen. Even in 2030 they still have a TON of them.

I used to never watch the games, but I recently started a new game where I decided to be Head Coach as well as GM (not have a Head Coach hired), and so I watch each game now. It's a lot of fun to be hands on, changing lines & tactics in-game. I watch the games on very fast, so each game doesn't take forever, but it's just slow enough to get a good feel for how the game is going, and be able pause and make adjustments on the fly.

I also find it makes every win that much more rewarding, and loss devastating, and certainly tempts my GM side to make trades to help the current roster (possibly at the expense of the future).

Then depending upon how the game is going, I may turn it down to fast speed and switch to the rink view (forget what it's called).

Sometimes if my PP or PK is bad, I'll switch over to rink view and watch those. Course I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for yet. I like hockey, just don't know the game as well as I do baseball or basketball.
