Unable to un-retire a retired number

Post by Landy92 »

So i'm doing a Penguins EHM with vanilla EHM, and i've brought back Mario Lemieux from retirement (custom attribs and all :p). Anyways, I removed his entry for his retired number from the extra config file, but i'm still unable to select #66 for anyone on the team, let alone Mario. Seeing as it wouldn't feel right having Lemieux wearing something other than 66, is there any way to fix this? Thanks.

You dont need to do that

Theres an exe on the skydrive thing that will allow you to export all the retired numbers to an excell file, or cvs, or whayever, it opens in exell. You can then add, or remove any retired number if you know the proper team ID

Sounds cool! Do you have a link?
I looked in the downloads section and didn't see this tool

Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place but I was able to unretire a bunch of numbers like Mario Lemieux, Mark Messier, etc. Wayne Gretzky on the other hand I have not been able to get his number 99 to become selectable. Is this kept someplace else?

Hardcoded maybe? For the 1974DB I removed the three Wayne Gretzky retired numbers (using the Retired Numbers Updater linked above), and while Gretzky's 99 doesn't show as retired anywhere that I can see it's still not selectable

Probably hard-coded due to the fact that #99 is retired for ALL teams
