EHM The Blue Line

It's been nearly 2 years since I've been on this site (probably been that long since I playced EHM)

I just started playing this again yesterday and started out with a fantasy draft and then decided I wanted to get the most current rosters avaiable from this site.

I checked out your downloads page and see that you have an updated roster. Do I have to save the downloaded roster file in a particular EHM folder on my computer or if it will go directly to where it needs to go?

The last roster I downloaded was a Lidas roster for the Thrashers challenge a few years ago. I apologize if this is discussed somewhere - I feel like a newbie to this site all over again. Can someone help me out please?

You need to create a sub-folder within your 'database' folder and put the database files there. Here's some more details from our Wiki:

Custom databases can be installed by creating a new sub-folder in NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\data\database. Extract the custom database into this sub-folder. When starting a new game you will be presented with the option to use the default database or your custom database. You may install as many custom databases as you like in separate sub-folders within NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\data\database.

Saved games are not affected by database updates; a new game must be started in order to see the changes.

Good grief...it's been forever again since I've played EHM 2007. It's been another couple years since I played last. Unfortunately I got caught up in the world of apps, lol

Anyways, I'm looking for the latest roster for EHM 2007. Are folks still updating the rosters for this game, or has everyone moved on to the new version on Steam?

The database for the new EHM (even the ones in 07 format that needs to be inputted into the new EHM) is not compatible with EHM07; the new EHM can import/use EHM07 databases (you can edit EHM07 databases and import them into the new EHM)

I think the last EHM07 database that can be used with EHM07 is version 7.2 from last year.

I think I've seen 2-3 others say they still play 07 so you're not completely alone HaHa but yes, most people have moved to the new EHM/consider it better [I haven't thought of 07 since the new EHM came out...with bug fixes, improvements "under the hood" (including Player Roles), up-to-date leagues/rules, and much more! the new EHM is a much better game IMO]
