EHM 2004 crashes at main menu

Thought i'd try EHM 04 out, and it's crashing for me at the main menu. I tried running it as an administrator and on compability mode, but nothing works.
I have version 1.0 if that helps.

Is it giving you any kind of error message, or is it just shutting down inexplicably?

It stops responding the second it gets to the main menu, then just crashes.

Have you tried installing any mods - Graphics, databases, etc.? If so, are you sure they're mods for EHM 2004, and not for 2005 or 2007? If you're trying to run mods for a later version, that could be the problem.
If you're not using any mods or anything, I guess I would suggest completely uninstalling EHM 2004, and then reinstall.

Yeah reinstall the game with absolutely no mods or roster updates.
Also make sure that you install the final patch (which I've noticed we don't host on TBL...
). If you can't get hold of the patch, let me know and I'll upload it.
