Nobody's been daring enough to guess for an upset of notice.

I thought about it. But.....the only one I could think may happen was Slovakia-USA, and possibly Finland-Canada (because last game). In the end, just could not do it. But I thought Slovenia over Slovakia and Swiss over Czech were pretty good.

I always end up cheering for Switzerland to do well. I just like the HOPPE SUISSE chant.

Way to pick USA for upset

When it is the USA it is not an upset. It is just normal.

Put in some ''random'' ones to scramble the pack. Also I got to point out already that I really hate the times the games are played. Okay, I get it, all skating sports are held at the same place, but still. 12 in the morning or 7 in the evening local time, who the darn decided that! For the first Finland's game I'm in school and for the second one I'm in the senior high's prom party (as weird as it sounds ). Yeah, I do get to see the FIN - CAN game, but who can say that would be easy...

Sometimes it's a shame hockey isn't a bigger sport (and hence would get these kinds of things settled better).

My plan was to be able to watch every hockey game for the tournament, first game local start time- 4:30am=fail

If you aint getting up for the 430 AM game, you are not a hockey person. I will be darn sure watching live and yelling at the idiot refs the way I yell at you morons here.

Well that's even worse than I thought.

Just kidding around. We bug him about it, but he is so focused on his sports (baseball now) that the time is not available for him. Competes at a high level in everything he touches because he is so athletic.

He did have a job while injured last season, but now...it is baseball 5 days per week. Plus school, so no chance he could have one. We get it. He has not played in 5 years, and all of a sudden the top level league (well one of the teams) wants him to play for them.
