Trading Newly Signed UFA's
You cannot trade any newly signed UFA's until:
a) After January 1st for newly signed FA's that are signed for $4mil or less
b) One full year for newly signed FA's that are signed over $4mil
RFA's are not affected by this rule as you need to give up compensation to get these players.

First Round Draft Picks are eligible to be traded in the current season, and the following season. July 1st in-game will be used as the beginning of the "new" season.
Example: If the current date in-game is January 1, 2028, a team's first round draft pick in 2028 and 2029 are the only first round draft picks eligible to be traded.
Second and Later Picks
Draft Picks in the second round through to the seventh are eligible to be traded in the current season, and the four following seasons. July 1st in-game will be used as the beginning of the "new" season.
Example: If the current date in-game is January 1, 2028, a team's draft picks in rounds two through seven in 2028-2032 are eligible to be traded.

Rejections
All rejections must be delivered to a VP (Brad or Eric) privately. The rejection must have a notable reason as to why the trade should be rejected. This must be done within 24 hours of the trade being accepted by both GM’s on the boards. After the first rejection the thread will remain open for 72 hours. If there are 2 or more rejections within 72 hours the trade will be sent to the trade committee.
As a general guideline, GMs should reject a trade if they feel it is significantly lopsided and/or is harmful to the well being of the league or to the long-term health of a franchise.
Handling Rejections
All trades receiving 2 or more rejections will be reviewed by a 5 person committee. The voting members of the committee will be informed of the rejection by the Commissioner. They will reach a simple pass or fail vote with 3/5ths majority being needed to decide it the trade is stamped or non-stamped.
The 5 person trade committee will be picked randomly for each trade, from group of 8-10 experienced GMs. the Commissioner will not be apart of the committee, but instead will run the process and inform the league as to the outcome. Any GM that sent in a rejection will not be eligible to be a part of the 5 person committee for that trade.
Stamping
After 24 hours and there has been no rejections the VP will stamp the trade, or if the committee rules the trade as passable.
All trades in which a non-playoff team deals away their own 1st round pick in any upcoming draft will automatically be reviewed and voted on by the trade committee before being stamped. For the first 28 games of the season we will base it on the previous season's standings.
