EHM The Blue Line

I am totally confused and a little widdled off. My team was brutal this season, and finished last overall. I knew my team was going going get a high pick from about the mid season mark, so I did my scouting and found the guy I wanted, needed on my team, ranked #2. Its now draft day and I get this. How does this make any sense?

Im pretty sure it doesnt normally do that, that's definitely strange

That is a known bug that happens sometimes. Nobody knows why
