EHM The Blue Line

So for the longest time I have been running a fictional nation, both in my writing and my gaming world. I use OOTP for Baseball, Fast Break, Basketball, Handball manager 2010, Volleyball manager 2013, Football Manager 2013 etc. To create a sporting universe based around my fictional nation. About a year ago I started editing EHM 07 to put my nation in game, but I ran into a series of problems.

Now I'm contemplating simply overwriting Norway and the current Norwegian teams while replacing the names files to mimic my nations predominantly Russo/Norwegian population. Is this the only way to get a playable league working in EHM 07? As opposed to building from the ground up as can be done in OOTP? I was hoping Franchise Hockey manager would allow significant editing, but the game was too broken to make it a worthwhile endeavour.

If I understand you correctly...yes, overwriting a playable league is your only option in EHM, and no you can't "build from the ground up" like in OOTP
