HELP WANTED

Updating the TBL rosters is a big task and we are not nearly enough researchers working with it. Would you like to join us?

We have some areas covered, but others are severely lacking.

The big needs are:
Updating the NCAA rosters and rating the players.
Rating the QMJHL and adding the 2014 draftees
Rating European leagues(not Germany or the UK)
European league transfers (not Germany, UK, SHL or Liiga)
Rating the North American minor pro leagues

Or is there anything special you'd like to do to help us?
Roster research does take its time so, please, make sure you have the time for it.

I just wonder why you do not release TBL roster version where are new transfers and new contracts are update. After summer trades and before NHL start?

Because there is a whole lot more things to be done to the database than NHL transfers and contracts.

Still would be great if fast version about rosters would be ready before season starts. I mean just NHL updated contracts and trades nothing else. Kinda quick update.

You make it sound so easy when it's not.

A huge amount of work is put into the DB all year round. If the DB were released before everything had been finished then many aspects would be unfinished. We need to finish off all the work before we can release it. We try to do things properly rather than rush them.

I'll gladly help out if you still need people working on it. I'm not very familiar with the rating process but I'll learn if it's needed. Could also do transfers or histories. PM if you need me!
