EHM The Blue Line

Hey,

Ive read through as much as I can find regarding presidents, chairmen, directors of personal .. etc .. and I understand how they come to be, act and that they retire and quit.

My question is this .. is there any way to influence a staff member like this?

Here is my scenario:

Andy Parker is the president of the Belleville Bulls in the OHL. His stats look amazing, I really want to hire him for my staff on the Detroit Red Wings. The gme does not give me the normal option to offer him a contract. Is there any way of obtaining this staff member?

As far as i know, the president/chairman does nothing at all. Can't be re-hired and u can't hire the one u want. When their contract ends the game gives u a new one by itself, but i never noticed it doing anything or effecting anything.
