Please post any changes/mistakes/etc regarding the TBL Rosters v7.x series of rosters in this thread.
The rosters are very much a work-in-progress.
Currently, we are working on:
*Updating NHL player ratings
*Updating major junior players. Some needs creating, others needs re-rating
*Updating Swedish hockey
*general transfer-updating

And we've spotted the first errors...
Bo Horvat's rights does not belong to the Canucks in game
Brad Richardson's contract has one digit too many. Should be 733,333

What's the reason behind the lowered salary cap and re-calculated salaries?

If that has indeed been done, I think it's a good decision. The AI is unable to cope with a salary cap of 65m, and it rarely spends even close to the cap.

Yup, that is the reason

Jarkko Immonen (forward, born 1982) is totally missing from the rosters for some reason even though he is an important National Team player for Finland. I guess this might have to do with
Jarkko Immonen (defender, born 1982) retiring but I myself did not retire the wrong Immonen when I updated the contracts.

I rated his attributes in the last 6.x DB. So he should be there?!

So, as I wrote in previous thread, in next update Borna Rendulic attributes should be updated. Especially offensive and tehnical skills

I'm updating all contracted NHL players for the next release. And he's contracted to Colorado Avalanche, so don't worry. He will be updated.

Does the roster data/file contain things like history of Stanley Cup winners, etc.? I see Blachhawks 2012 as the most recent Cup winners, and wasn't sure if I need the editor to change that?

Thanks!

Then it's right. I had him in the old team for some strange reason.

You could somehow change this rule about the number of foreign players? (in Sweden, Finland, EBEL, Czech, Slovak, KHL, Swiss and Germany?)

No, I'm afraid it's hard-coded. However, you may be able to change it using my exe/hard-code editor:

It looks like Brad Richardson's salary is messed up. I think he was somehow confused with Brad Richards at some point and given his salary and then never fixed. I was just looking at him on the waiver wire and he's got a salary of $7.333M.

Manimal will answer that one, he's the salary guy!

But yeah that should be fixed.

Bo Horvat doesn't have any NHL rights assigned. It shows that he was drafted by the Canucks but he's a UFA. I did check his News in his History to make sure he wasn't released.

It's possible this falls under the "ongoing work with history" category, but I noticed the NHL competition history isn't updated. Blackhawks are marked as the 2013 winners, but 2014 is blank.
Just a heads up!

Both Horvat and Richardson are mentioned in the 2nd post of this thread. Mistakes by me.
I don't remember retiring Immonen but if none of the Finnish guys did it then it must have been me. I usually stay away from leagues researched by others but sometimes I retire guys when I get the info and I probably just took the wrong Immonen.
It will all be fixed in the future

Why is the NHL salary cap 44 million?

And thank you very much for this patch really great work

Unfortunately we came across a crash with the Pre-Game Editor when we tried to update the competition histories last year. For the time being I'd like to avoid updating them until I figure out the cause. I may have in fact fixed it but I don't want to risk it until I've done more testing.

Unfortunately the AI struggles with a raised salary cap. So we've restored it to nearer the 2006 cap.
