So, it has been a fun year.
As you know, the game GM Hockey Legacy was released early this year. I had planned to buy the company so that future releases can be secured but that did not work out due to different reasons.
Now, months later, we have released the first new version of the game. It is for the DEL, the German hockey league, and can be found on our new website www.bionic-salmon.com
We will also release an NHL version later this year and have other games coming out as well.
Now, with me owning this company, I can assure you that nothing will dissapear from the web anymore like it did with the other company.
Come, check it out, test the game for free and give us your feedback.

Your post makes no sense. YOu say you planned to by the company but it did not work out. Then you say you own the company. If I wanted ham I would eat ham, not the stuff that comes in a can.

I may be thick, but I can't find the download link to this game. How much does it cost? Is there a demo I can try out?
Looks like it could have potential.

@batdad
If you read it correctly, it makes perfect sense
I wanted to buy the company, but that did not work, so I opened my own.
I wanted ham, but could not get it so I went with bacon
The North American league version was published today.

Re: Hockey Universe by Bionic Salmon
I've only played around with it the past 10 minutes but there are definitely some really cool features in the game. Realistic Hall of Fame for players and builders, olympics tournaments, rookie camps, internal captaincy vote, historical seasons, GM improvement in skills through experience, very cool customization options, player and GM deaths, full tracking of staff history, player interviews (incl. demanding a list for whom they will waive their NTC to be traded to), decent trade offers, rivalries and much more...but ultimately i find the GUI very outdated and frustrating in navigating and the killer is the inability to simulate large time periods at once.
This seems 100 percent identical to the GM hockey game including it's strengths and weaknesses. Even the GM fantasy Draft Pool is in...never understood that. I am wanting to see what it feels like in the shoes of a GM...that hurts the immersion. How can you not purchase the company but copy its product exactly? From what I can tell it's the same game just with a different name. This doesn't make sense to me.
I have to admit, GM hockey was never for me; I didn't mind the game in turns, I just never enjoyed the arcady feel, the inability to simulate many games/weeks/months at one time [that ones a deal breaker right away for me], the outdated GUI, and not having any ability to delegate various tasks i was not interested in.
Best of luck with the game.

Thanks for your feedback. You are correct. It is an update version of the Legacy game series.
The whole story about the company purchase and the game release is very easy. I did not buy the company due to the skeletons in the closet, so I bought the code and hired the programmer. This way I know I have clean books and do not carry around the old baggage.
I honestly appreciate the feedback you gave as this helps with the next installment. If people do not tell us their opinion we can not improve.
Best regards
