Hi!

I'm pretty new to this game and am currently playing with Florida Panthers with the newest roster update. It's currently in beginning of february 2015 and recently I made a trade for a depth player and now one of my players on my main roster got injured. So I wanted to replace him with the acquired player from my AHL team. It says he has to go through waivers, and according to the news he was cleard 24 hours later. But he seems stuck on the AHL team! How come I can't bring him up? I've been able to bring up a couple of player before, but they had 2-way deals.

Update: Also, I do have a roster spot open on Florida, as the injured player is on IR currently.

Hard to say just based on a forum post, but 2-way deals should make no difference. You should be able to bring him up after you've put him on waivers. 2-way deals just affect what is being payed as wages to the player.

I Think you have to bring him up at the same time you put him on re-entry waivers. If you wait until he has passed re-entry waivers then you need to do it again, IIRC

Manimal is right. Bit of a gaffe with the game and catches almost everybody once in awhile.

I've tried with the option "Recall to Panthers", is there another way to bring him up that I'm missing? When I use this option I get a message saying I need to put him on re-entry waivers, which I have done twice now and he still stays in AHL. When I look through his info, it says he cleared waivers on February 10th (it's 14th now).

I can't put him through waivers only again. So am I to assume I had to put him through waivers first and then use the recall option? It's the only thing I can think of that might have messed it all up now. Cause I used the recall option to begin with thinking that should be enough as I got the re-entry waivers message that time as well.

You should be able to call him up at the very moment you've just put him to waivers. If not, it must be some kind of bug.

Place on Waivers -- Recall to Panthers at the same instant. No need to advance in game time.

Yeah it must have been some sort of a bug. But I gave it another try and now I managed to bring him up though. Very strange. Still, thanks for your help guys. Will remember to put on waivers first and then use the recall at the same time next time.
