I can't get the updater to run on crossover, any chance any mac user can walk me through it? Or if a windows user can just share the data file with a higher salary cap (73m)

You don't need the Updater in order to edit the salary cap. Just edit the transfer_rules_config.cfg file from your database in a text editor. It'll look something like this:
