yeah the game doesn't take a lot of cpu usage... I thought that was the obvious choice... didn't didn't know if it would lag it down or something.

Game speed depends of database which you choose. Not leagues. Of course you can choose more leagues and if you're currently for example in KHL you can choose in preferences rest on quick sim. It helps also.

League selection does in fact have a significant bearing. The more leagues you select, the slower the game will be.

What are the benefits of having the data base on large as apposed to normal or minimum?

I have renamed the thread and moved it to the correct forum. Please read our Forum Guidelines before starting any other threads.

Larger database = More players will be loaded into the saved game but the game will run more slowly.
Smaller database = Fewer players will be loaded but the game will run faster.

What are the benefits of having the database on full? Are there just more potential players to scout? Does it make the game run slower or is that only when you have multiple leagues on enhanced.

More players, more leagues = more statistics to count and game works slowly. If You play one specific league put the rest on quick sim and should be faster.

I'd say, if you play a low end team in an amateur / semi-pro league, you could benefit from a larger database. More obscure players to sign.
