Much better only lost 3-0 this time round tbf we looked good for the first two periods against Frolunda I think it was just tired legs in the third that got to them

I think Braehead have a chance of a victory at home against Ingolstadt, they need to get their full team in and give more ice time to their 4th line so the rest of their players don't tire towards the end of the 3rd like yesterday.

Steelers have a slim chance against JYP at home, but I think they'll be too strong again.

I don't think we will do much against either teams at home

I went over to Gothenburg for the Frolunda game, we did well for 40 mins, but then penalty trouble and fatigue kicked in! Think I am still hungover from those few days there though! The scenes when Fretter made it 7-1 were amazing :-D

Haven't watched the JYP game but on the radio Steelers played well apparently.

Looking forward to seeing JYP at the Arena this weekend!

3-1 to Vaxjo, Braehead took the lead in the first before the Lakers came back.

Just got back from the Steelers match the lads played really well and were so close to getting more than two goals. That was probably the second best steelers game I've been too

The CHL is not a big deal in Sweden. Most look at it as simply more competitive exhibition games.
They will care once it get's to the playoffs, at least the later stages

Good effort by Braehead to beat Ingolstadt, albeit they pulled their netminder at 4-4 so it was a bit easier than it might have been. Steelers didn't do too badly against Frolunda either  Looks like both teams performed better than Nottingham last year (who were convincingly beaten by Lulea twice). I hope that we get 2 teams entering again next year

I predict the biggest upsets of all time....but only because of a lack of ice, and these games end up being played on grass. Sheffield Steelers win the whole thing, going undefeated after a big scare in game 1 vs Red Bull Salzberg, in which they eke out an 11-1 victory.

Nah they won't win. It will be Comarch Cracovia.

Steelers lost 5-3 to HV71 last night.

Thought the lads played really well some silly penalties killed us as they scored 3 powerplay goals

Playing Salzburg on Saturday looking forward to that match.

Last night the Steelers lost 8-1 to Red Bull Salzburg.

It seems that no lessons were learnt from Thursday's loss although having said that I thought the refs were very tough any bit of physical play seemed to be punished

Think maybe 2 games in 3 days in 2 countries was a bit much.
