Player in-game Rating

I was wondering if the players in game rating been classified as a bug or something that needs to be fixed?
Because it clearly is a problem. In the 07 game you really never had to "cheat" to see who the best players are because that rating was an accurate reflection (for the most part) of his performance.....In this new game its not. The ratings are drastically low and out of whack. Too many players mired in 6's and low 7s. It is nearly impossible to make determinations on players.
One case in point on my team is D Johnny Boychuk....he was a top 2 def for me, on a team that had the best record in the league, lost in 2nd rd....he played 77 games, had 32 points, plus 2, led team in shots blocked, led in takeaways....yet his player rating was the 2nd worst on the team at 6.62....only a 4th line player was worse. His moral is always low or very low. I wonder if the moral issue in this game creates bad player ratings too.
Yes I know it does not matter since all teams are the same so the game play, goals scored, ect are technically all the same.....but it does matter. Perhaps its a bad product on the ice. I actually think scoring is down in my league. But my main problem is how to judge these players. Does Boychuk suck or is he good? his actual ability in the assistant says hes a real good (not great) player. But his rating is a joke. And how can you evaluate any of these players if good players have terrible numbers. I have guys like Hickey and Donovan who clearly are not as good. But Donovan was 7.05 and a plus 21!
I think the rating system along with the moral system is broken.
If this is in the wrong thread, I apologize....not sure where it belongs.
