San José Sharks has got a new AHL team after Cleveland Barons; Worcester Sharks. It has obviously recently taken form. Here's their homepage: http://www.sharksahl.com.

I just find this really weak... they are using the exact logo and colors of the NHL team it's just that theirs says Worcester on it. I mean it could have been worse and been the Baby Sharks or something but it's pretty bad imho.

In my mind it just emphasizes the transitional nature of the team whhich is the lowlight of people that follow the team locally, that they only have plaers until they are good enough to play for the "real team" and having the exact same logos and colors is just bogus. So you finally get called up after four years of sweat and tears to finally put on the Shark logo of the Big Club for the first time... but it's basically the same darn thing you've been wearing since you came into the organization :bs: I just think it's an overall bad call. Providence is bad enough with their 'P' on a spoked wheel emulating the Bruins logo but this is horrible.

Lol! =D>

Yeah, I think it's bad to use the exact logo as the main team too. They could have still use the Barons, but just move it to Worcester or something. Or maybe do a reproduction of Victoria Salmon Kings and change the to Worcester Shark Kings.
