Toni Sainio - Story of a Prospect
is a hockey story focusing on the career of a Finnish 17 year-old defender on his way to a pro career. It's written in the form of a story, following the outcome of a simulation of EHM EA. I gave the protagonist a PA of -15, which means he may turn up anything between a grinder in a Euro league, to a star at the NHL level. I write, as the simulation moves on, and don't know what will happen either. I also gave him 20 at both defensive positions, and placed him in my home town team, Salon Kiekkohait of the Finnish Second Division -- the fourth highest level in Finland. From there on it's up to the game where he ends up.
I will share this story one season at a time. Since my primary writing language is Finnish, I recommend those who are fluent in the language would read the Finnish version.

Season two now available.
It's progressing slowly due to the fact that I first have to simulate, then write, and then translate, but I've dedicated one day per week for this, so it is getting a regular spot in my schedule -- meaning it might take a few weeks, but the next season is always on the works, and this story will not be abandoned.

I was just about to get season 15 done when I ran into an unexpected computer problem, which has forced this story on a break for undetermined length of time. Dang it!
