EHM The Blue Line

Well, the title ISN'T really self explanatory, so i'll have to explain it.
So I started a save a while back, and have put most of my 105 hours in EHM:EA In it. I lost a certain play, due to my own stupdity by accident.
I came back, with an earlier save, a few weeks later and fixed it. I though. Then I realized... the Salary Cap that was previously at 77 MIL was now down at 69 mil.
My team, which included legitimate first liners on the second and third line (Nuge, Benn, Domi, ... keep in mind this is in 2019) And had been in the Stanley cup finals 3 years in a row now can't afford it's own ... team. I have the player budget and such for it, because I set it to max, and had no problems until loading it now. I refuse to give up a save I've spent 100 hours on... can I have tips on how to fix the save, through save file modification or something?

I have a similar problem with a database that has a low cap floor setting. The edit worked perfectly until the most recent update and now the cap floor (even though the edit is still in the database) is back at the default setting.

Did you manage to keep your team together? Luckly, I did..
