Scouting Shortlists

If I make a shortlist, export (save) it, and assign someone to scout it; and then later I import (load) another shortlist, will the scout that I assigned to scout my other shortlist start scouting the shortlist I just imported? And if I assign a new scout to scout the shortlist after I imported the new one, will it scout the old one or the new one? Don't know if this is the right place to post this... Thanks in advance!
