Deleting players from saved game?

I have a bugged person that I want to delete entirely from my saved game--is there any way to do that? Using EHM Assistant I've changed his age but nothing has fixed it.
Any solutions other than filing a bug report on SI?

AFAIK there's never been a way to delete someone from a saved game

Edit him in EHM Assistant so that his attributes suck and set his contract to expire the next day. He'll be released into the FA pool to never return with rubbish attributes.
